We have been spoilt with Dubai for last 7 years however with people Like you You make Doha even better let alone Rixos!! Rixos need to appreciate people like you! Also Morris, monalisha, and habibi! Unfortunately I failed you habibi for the whole holiday and forgot your name at the time of this review!

If you are looking for a place to relax and have all your needs met, then the Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North Hotel can be the place. We wanted to warm up in the sun and not have to worry about anything else. It is a beautiful hotel with a beautiful spa that has a friendly, warm and inviting team that contributed to the relaxing experience. The Hammam along with the steam rooms and workout room, was a great experience! The Hammam is very beautiful and was an amazing. The main restaurant, the Turquoise, offers an impressively large range of delicious food to choose from to meet everyone’s needs and desires. Despite how busy the restaurant gets, everyone is willing to help or offer assistance if needed. For example, being that I have some dietary restrictions, each chef kindly made themselves available to answer any questions I had and seemed sincere in answering my questions. This was appreciated. We also visited the French restaurant several times. The food here is very good. The steak was a favorite! It’s a beautiful restaurant, and we enjoyed being there. It is also at this restaurant where a band plays in the evenings on the outside terrace. This band not only has beautiful voices to listen to, but also uses a range of instruments and plays a diversity of music. It offers a nice atmosphere. We were impressed. Everyone (the entire team and managers) at the French restaurant were a delight and offered wonderful service. In particular, we had a waitress serve us several nights. This waitress by the name of Soni is diligent, professional, and would say is very capable. Even though the restaurant became very busy, she made sure nothing was lacking. We also appreciated her charming disposition. We visited the lobby many times to have tea after meals or to just go there to relax and read. The teas offered there are very good, and the display cases are filled with very good selections to enjoy, from sandwiches to deserts, including beautiful Turkish delights. This lobby understandably becomes very busy as it is a gateway to everything. However, everyone who worked here always smiled and had tea or coffee placed before you quite quickly, despite being busy. We appreciated the entire team and Karla helping us several times. Whenever you walk around the premises or sit or relax, you will see attention being given to some form of detail, whether it is maintenance or cleaning. We were very happy with how clean the hotel was. You always see cleaners cleaning. We made sure to thank them all when we could because they keep this hotel clean. In fact, our room was cleaned so well every day. Sometimes when you go to a hotel, you don’t want to touch the drinking glasses in the room because you are not sure if they have been replaced properly. We did not find that to be the case here. Everything, from the bedding, towels, and drinking glasses to daily dusting... This cleaning crew of Rekha, Mahesh, and Waseem are wonderful workers! They offered us a water park view. However, we chose the beach view despite some construction currently taking place on or nearby the hotel premises. The construction was not loud at all, and the site did not bother us or obstruct the view of the beautiful Persian Gulf. Also, regarding our room number 5106, it was very comfortable with a lovely balcony, and the refrigerator refilled every day. Akeem was very helpful in giving us a tour of our room and how to use the updated technology to make our stay more pleasant. One day between beaches, we visited the Italian Restaurant. Once again, we found everyone to be a pleasure to deal with. Workers have a smile and are happy to accommodate by making gluten-free pasta with a meat sauce. My husband had the pizza. Everything was okay. Of personal opinion, however, coming from an Italian family in the NJ, NY area USA, I would not call this place an "Italian Restaurant" but rather would fit more of the description of being a Pizzeria. However, nothing is wrong with a Pizzeria! It offers pizza and other fast food like nuggets and French fries, all practical quick food to have at a water park. So this all made sense to us, except the name of the restaurant. Pizzeria is a better description. Being that this hotel is the host to the largest water park in the world, it would only make sense then that the hotel would be a host of many families. We prepared ourselves mentally (being that we are not parents) before arriving that this hotel would understandably be quite noisy at times, and it gets noisy! The lobby and main restaurant are grand and large. Given the height and magnitude of the building, the acoustics met their match; from every cry to a plate that falls and breaks is clearly heard and “echoed.” However, we never had a problem finding a quiet place, at two of their beaches and the spa. The adult pool looked quiet to us, but we opted for the beaches. While sitting in the lobby, even though it gets quite loud, the babies can be very cute. The beaches are lovely and have a nice team of workers which includes Abby to bring ice cream or water to ones who have been enjoying the sun. This is a nice touch! This next point is not a complaint but hoped to be taken as a gracious observation. The Turquoise Restaurant and the Display case in the lobby offer amazing, mouthwatering desserts. They all look so incredible that you want to taste everything! Of course, when you are on a gluten-free diet, you are reasonable and understand your options will be limited. However, there isn’t really much to offer an individual on a gluten-free diet dessert-wise at the resort. Sadly, not one incredible-looking dessert in the display case in the lobby offered a gluten-free item. It appeared that it was the same in the Turquoise Restaurant. At the Turquoise Restaurant, it is no problem to find delicious fruits and I found some lovely figs in some type of syrup I enjoyed, but maybe the hotel could give a little attention to having some form of dessert, whether it’s a pudding or flan that is gluten-free if no cakes are made. Continuing on a positive note, if you had a question or just needed some form of little assistance with something, the workers (no matter who they were) had a willing spirit to help with the feeling of sincerity behind it all. The gentleman at the concierge desk went out of his way to make sure we did not have to wait to get a room upon checking in. All in all, the Rixos Hotel gave us what we were looking for on this trip. We wanted to relax, and not worry about anything. Cannot say this hotel did not provide this for us.
