Semiramis

We loved our stay at the Semiramis, the room was good with a nice sea view. The food was always of a high standard , and the bar a nice place to relax at days end. To reach the old town or port you need to choose your route wisely, don't go up and over the hill, go along the sea front to the roundabout turn right past the garage and then keep straight on. Took us about 20 mins and we're not that young anymore. Most of all, we have to say just how brilliant the staff are. They were always glad to help, always pleasant and often went out of their way to make our visit special. Great hotel!

The hotel is basically pretty good, but currently feels like a youth hostel. We're in a great location at the western coastal end of Rhodes old town. The rooms are a little small, but clean and comfortable. We've had an enjoyable week here, but I cannot recommend it for a relaxing holiday. It may be just because it’s early in the season, but the hotel has been taken over by large parties of teenage children on school/sport/social trips. If you like a boisterous, noisy, door slamming, chewing gum stuck to the lift vibe, it's the perfect spot. If not, I'd suggest booking elsewhere.

Excellent. Rooms were compact but clean, so perfectly adequate. Location great. Outstanding aspect of our stay was the staff throughout the hotel, but especially in the dining room. Despite being a busy 'city hotel', with great choices of food, it was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff who made the service outstanding. Special dishes brought in for longer stay guests (despite only being there a week), and even a birthday cake. We could not have received better service. Would definitely recommend half board.
