We had a fabulous time at this hotel during a skiing trip for February half term. I want to make a special mention of the staff, who were superb, and made the hotel the great experience that it is - they are hard working, helpful and motivated. We booked both a quadruple room plus a separate double room for a family of 4, because we needed good sleep. The quadruple room consisted of 2 separate bedrooms, one had twin beds and the other had only a sofa bed, not a double bed , in case anyone is wondering. The room description was misleading in this respect as it stated twin beds and a double bed. We only had one person sleeping on the sofa bed, I think it would have been a struggle to get two people sleeping on it. It is odd to just have a sofa bed in a separate bedroom, instead of a double bed. All the rooms were clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The bathrooms too were nice and modern. One of the showers was blocked one day, but the staff came and fixed it immediately. The hotel food was very good. It is a buffet of hot meals, salads and desserts, all very tasty and plentiful. You could go all inclusive or pay for each meal as you went along. 25 Euros for breakfast, 30 euros for dinner, or 65 euros all inclusive per person per day which included alcoholic drinks too. One of our party had a serious peanut allergy, and the restaurant staff had detailed allergy sheets showing what she could and could not eat. None of the hot meals contained nuts. There was also a pizza restaurant and a bakery 2 minutes walk away, and a ski hire shop. It is a 15 minute walk into the main town. The town is very pretty, with other restaurants and shops, and a nice square with a church. For anyone coming for a ski holiday, the St Gervais skiing cable car is an easy 7 minute walk from the hotel. The cable car takes you up to Bettex, where you can hire your skis and boots, rather than hiring them in St Gervais town. I would strongly recommend that you hire a ski locker in Bettex or at the bottom of the cable car, so that you don't have to carry your skis back to the hotel every day. It made life so much simpler. Also, if you are coming in half term, pre book your lift passes online (you can collect them from a machine) and also prebook your skis and lockers, as there was almost no availability for anyone who had not pre-booked. In the evenings, after dinner, the hotel has a nice cosy bar area and boardgames you can borrow. The skiing was excellent, the hotel was perfect for our needs, the access to the lift car and slopes was easy and convenient. I would highly recommend this is a ski hotel. The transfer time from Geneva was 60 minutes by private taxi.

We had a nice stay at this resort. It's well located close to the ski lifts and moutain views. The food was fantastic and we were suprised at the quality and variety. The included drinks were good too. As a bonus it has a really nice heated outdoor pool again with lovely mountain views. We travelled with 2 young kids who enjoyed it. Our family room was one of the better ones and more than adequate for size and space. This is certainly not a luxury stay but was comfortable and enjoyable and overall great value. The only feedback I have is the house keeping could have been a bit better and is very basic. But was fine for 4 day stay. Many thanks!

You need to pay for spa, hammam and sauna. I though that it was included like the others hotels that i have gone in the past...

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel during our ski trip to Saint-Gervais. The service was excellent, and the food was really decent – offering a great variety that made it easy to fuel up for a day on the slopes. A standout feature was the ability to prepare lunches at breakfast, which was perfect for our days of skiing. It allowed us to head out early and enjoy a packed lunch on the mountain, making it so convenient! The rooms were spotless and comfortable, though I must mention that the bed was a double sofa bed. After four nights, it did start to feel a bit uncomfortable, but with all the skiing and après-ski activities, any bed was appreciated at the end of the day. A real highlight of our stay was Roman, who went above and beyond in making our experience memorable. He had many roles within the hotel, but what stood out most was how well he looked after us. He made sure our drinks were always topped up, assisted with our luggage, and gave us great advice on the best spots in Saint-Gervais. His personal touch really added to the overall experience, and we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. Overall, a lovely hotel with great service and a perfect location for skiing in Saint-Gervais! Would definitely return

Unfortunately our experience of this hotel was not one that we could recommend. Initially, after arriving only 15 minutes before check in and a long drive, we were abruptly told to come back at check in. There were several other times when waiting at the check in desk was far too long and we were ignored whilst two members of staff, some of whom were obviously management, dealt together with an issue for other guests. Queues were forming whilst we and others waited. After checking into our room we discovered that the door to the balcony had a large hole in it, appearing to have been broken into or out of. We returned to the reception desk where the one member of staff who was incredibly helpful and made our stay there bearable, dealt with this swiftly. This young Spanish man was attentive and dealt with the issue, offering us another room. We mentioned that the next room smelt of drains but this was preferable to the room with a hole in. The drain smell continued through our stay and was reported. Although cleaning staff were polite the amount of times our room was attended to was minimum and we even had to ask for our bins to be emptied. We also paid extra to go to the spa but unfortunately it was grubby and as it was unattended we were unable to get towels without going back to the reception desk and ask for help. In general the hotel is tired, worn and grubby in places, it needs some serious tlc to get anywhere near the standard that it should be for how much it costs.
