Stara Carsija Resort And Spa

Byłam tu z dwiema córkami i nastoletnimi wnuczkami. Wszystkie jesteśmy zachwycone pobytem w tym klimatycznym miejscu. Bardzo ciekawa architektura hotelu, połączenie historii z nowoczesnym stylem. Położenie hotelu fantastyczne. Widok z balkonu na góry, ruiny Starego Baru, malowniczą uliczkę z kafejkami i restauracyjkami pozostawia piękne wspomnienia. Jestem pod wrażeniem całego kompleksu hotelowego. Zakwaterowanie już od 13:00, poczęstunek w recepcji, owoce w pokoju. W łazience wszystko co potrzebne - nawet szczoteczka do zębów, balsam do włosów... Śniadanie serwowane do stolika na wspólnej tacy, napoje podawane na życzenie. Wszystko wyglądało zgodnie z informacjami i zdjęciami na stronie internetowej hotelu. Tylko etniczne komplety wypoczynkowe na hotelowym patio/ podwórku są wystawiane od maja. Obsługa hotelu bardzo przyjazna i profesjonalna.

Odkryta przez przypadek, ale planuje wrócić za każdym razem! Zupełnie nowy hotel (centrum spa w fazie budowy), świetne pokoje w kamiennym otoczeniu, przestronna łazienka. Zjadłem również obiad w restauracji - super miły personel, świetne jedzenie i domowe soki (mięta, granat). Old Bar to miejsce, w którym musi przyjść, naprawdę przyjemne miejsce i wspaniali ludzie.

What a fabulous place! Bar at the southern end of Montenegro isn't yet on the mass tourist route and the town itself is fairly unexciting with a nice beach. But the jewel is Stari Bar (Old Bar) a few km above the town. A very historic place with a wonderful citadel to explore, and a couple of lively streets with a great choice of bars and restaurants, great ice-creams, decent souvenir shops (but not too tacky or high-pressure) and a safe, feel-good atmosphere. The Resort and Spa is really great, built into the hill in traditional style but modern and luxurious, with lots of interesting nooks and crannies and several terraces (some with shady trees) to sit, eat, drink and simply chill - and super views too. Lovely, comfortable rooms, pool, hammam, sauna, treatments, kids' playroom and lots of hikes nearby if you're after some exercise. Staff friendly and helpful, restaurant food fine although nearby restaurants are better. All in all, for a restful break and a de-stress in comfort and style, I'd strongly recommend this place.

The hotel is located a bit uphill and with amazing views. Hotel design is so beautiful with beautiful little details. The pool area is not huge, but I loved it as it was not crowded in the late May. It is very close to a short street full of restaurants and shops which is atmospheric and enjoyable. We stayed at Deluxe Double with a balcony. The view from the balcony was stunning! Overlooking mountains and streets of Old Bar. The room was big enough for two people and good facilities all round. Loved bathroom and the feel of stone walls and flooring. Loved the look of room and traditional details which was one of the main reasons we did book this hotel. Breakfast was simple but delicious with loads of options including their traditional food. There is a SPA at the hotel which we enjoyed just once. It is free of charge for hotel guests. Spa offers many beauty treatments for additional cost. There was a power cut one day which is common thing in Montenegro. At least we were told so. But it was solved quickly. Hotel also offer a parking space for a car which is about 150m from the hotel. Everyone at the reception was lovely and we felt very welcomed. We loved our stay!!!! Will come back one day again.

The hotel is beautiful. It's very in-keeping with the ruins nearby, and has an Arabic twist in the design. The room was very comfortable, although the air conditioning didn't work very well - the curtains drape over the units, which block the cold air from circulating around the room (which is a problem at night when you have the curtains drawn). The pools are good, and the spa looked nice although we didn't use it. The staff were attentive and nice. Where it fell short was the restaurant - the food was pretty average, and the service was a bit weird. The staff kept ignoring us, and they brought over our mains while we were still eating our starters. Another issue was that the hotel is halal, therefore it doesn't serve alcohol. While my husband and I have no problem with this, it is not mentioned ANYWHERE on their website or on their booking.com page. The first we learned about it was on the morning we travelled to the hotel, when we were sent a confirmation email stating that the hotel doesn't serve alcohol. We felt that this sneaky and dishonest - if the hotel doesn't serve alcohol, this should be clearly stated on their website so that guests are aware. Another point for potential guests to be aware of - the hotel has A LOT of stairs as everything is laid out across different levels. There is a lift from the reception down to the spa, but nowhere else. If you're a wheelchair user or are bringing a pram, you're likely going to have issues getting around. We brought our young baby and had to keep getting her out of the pram to carry her and the pram separately up and down the stairs.
