There's also one last stop in Machico, the oldest village.From Funchal, the tour begins with a visit to the basket weaving town of Camacha, where you'll stop at a weaving factory. Then, continue past Pico Arieiro – the second-highest mountain in Madeira – where you'll enjoy spectacular views over the entire island.Next, stretch your legs with a short hike in the Ribeiro Frio nature reserve to the Balcões viewpoint before heading to Santana for a typical lunch. Afterwards, you'll drive along the Portela Pass for views over Faial and Porto da Cruz. Finally, there's a stop in Machico, the island's oldest village.
