The mysterious Desertas Islands, which you can see from Funchal on a clear day, no longer need to be a mystery. On this full day cruise from Funchal marina, you'll enjoy a guided tour of this nature reserve on arrival and have the opportunity to swim in the open sea with lunch on board.This cruise combines discovery with the perfect amount of relaxation as soon as you set sail to the Desertas Islands. Home to only wildlife and seabirds, the islands remain uninhabited, so as you wander round on a guided visit, you'll feel truly at one with nature.The journey there and back may also throw in a few surprises as you might be joined by dolphins, turtles or whales, and on our way back we'll stop in a picturesque location for lunch. You'll also have the chance to cool off with a swim or simply stay on board the gulet boat and relax before heading back to shore.
