Postlingberg Panoramas
Linz lines up its very own mountain – and you’ll ride to the top of it on this tour. Your coach will drop you at the summit, where you’ll have around an hour to explore with a guide. A whitewashed basilica sits at the hill’s highest point. Alternatively, you can pick out Linz’s landmarks from above at the viewing platform. Afterwards, you’ll head back down to the city, where you’ll start your walking tour. You’ll visit the Trinity Column – a 20-metre-high sculpture depicting the guilds, the emperor and the people of Linz. There’s also time to see Mozarthaus, where the famous composer stayed for three days in the 16th century, and was inspired to write the Linz Symphony. You can revisit your favourite landmarks during your free time, before heading back to the ship.
