Spend a day exploring Key West's uninhabited mangrove islands in the Key West National Wildlife Refuge. Keep an eye out for dolphins, sea turtles, manta rays and many other wildlife that call the Refuge home. Your day is divided between guided kayaking tours and guided snorkeling tours.For kayaking, the crew will help you into a stable sea kayak and provide paddling instructions. On your guided tour, you'll learn about the mangroves and their important role as a nursery for marine life. You'll also have the opportunity to take part in a guided snorkelling tour. The crew will provide professional snorkelling instructions along with information on the sponge gardens. Take in the tropical fish, sponges, and other marine creatures that call these gardens home.After the tours, come back aboard and wash off with a fresh water rinse. Find a comfortable spot to relax on deck, and choose from plenty of complimentary cold drinks like cold beer, wine, Sebago's homemade sangria, chilled sodas and filtered water. Lunch is also served on the boat, an all-you-can-eat fresh buffet feast. Start with peel-and-eat shrimp and delicious fried chicken. Then enjoy a selection of deli meats and cheeses served with assorted breads and condiments. You can also indulge in a variety of snacks, including chocolate chip cookies, chips and dip, and seasonal fruit.
