Cairo highlights overnight tour from Dahab

When you arrive at Giza, you'll be introduced to the last remaining wonder of the ancient world: the pyramids. See these colossal tombs and unearth their secrets before standing in awe beneath the Great Sphinx. Then, take time to rest your legs and tuck into a delicious set menu lunch at a local restaurant, followed by check-in at the hotel. In the evening, prepare for a fun evening of entertainment on the Nile with a dinner cruise and oriental show.On day two, check out from the hotel and drive towards Salah El-din Citadel, which is the icon of Cairo and was home to Egyptian rulers for some 700 years. Resume driving throughout Old Cairo with its amazing old churches, mosques, and houses until reaching the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. The museum's exceptional treasures include the mummies and the gilded mummy mask of Yuya and Thuya—found in the Valley of the Kings and remarkable for their extraordinary preservation and lifelike features. You will be speechless with delight in the main areas of the museum. The tour also includes rest and a delicious lunch on board the floating restaurant.Afterward, leave Cairo and return to Dahab with amazing memories.

- Entrance fees to get inside the pyramids (Cheops, Mykerinos or Kefren) are not included. The tickets available are limited and must be purchased on-site, so access is not guaranteed. The adult entrance fee is EGP 1500 and EGP 750 for children, subject to change with short notice
Know in advance:
- Update (valid starting 20 October 2025): The Hall of Tutankhamun at the Egyptian Museum (including the Golden Mask and Golden Sarcophagus) will be closed as the collection is being transferred to the new Grand Egyptian Museum. The Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, however, remains rich with exceptional treasures, including the mummies and the gilded mummy mask of Yuya and Thuya
- You'll gain access to the outdoor pyramids area
- Please arrange a takeaway breakfast box with your hotel reception one day before the tour date. If your accommodation includes dinner, then please coordinate with your hotel reception prior to your tour date to provide a late dinner in your room upon your return. If you decide to purchase an optional meal onsite these are likely to be suitable for vegetarians
- The tour duration time is simply a guideline and subject to change due to operational conditions or the hotel's location
- At the museum, you'll need to ensure that cameras are used without flash
Remember to bring:
- Your passport with a valid Egypt full visa sticker. If you only get the free stamp (the Gulf of Aqaba stamp) upon arrival at Sharm Airport, then, you still need to buy this full visa at the airport. These visa fees are not included, and you will need to show this the moment you are collected at your hotel for this tour
- Comfortable clothes and walking shoes
