You'll try various takes on Mexico's most iconic snack, including a Yucatán speciality and one that's “offaly” good. Lucia, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘Although you can get tacos around the clock these days, traditionally in Mexico they are only eaten as a morning or evening snack, usually on the go, from a street food stand.'The first stop is at a traditional Yucatan Loncheria where you´ll taste the traditional Taco de Cochinita Pibil, and next we'll try the Taco Coapeñito, a typical recipe from Mexico City. There's also a chance to try Tacos de Cabeza, one for the more adventurous foodies. No taco tour would be complete without the most traditional type of taco, Taco de Pastor, usually served with marinated spit-cooked pork and pineapple garnish, along with the classic spicy toppings.To round off your experience, we'll stroll through Parque las Palapas to finish the tour with that most Mexican of desserts, the churro.
