Rarely have I stayed anywhere where there isn’t at least one grumpy member of staff . I didn’t spot one anywhere , the staff were polite and friendly but above all efficient and helpful. The apartment was clean and comfortable . Everywhere was clean and well maintained

The accommodation was excellent value for money, spacious, comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant (we were only bed and breakfast) was great compared to other 3/4 star hotels where we have stayed. Staff were helpful and friendly

So where to start.. This is a very nice clean hotel, around the pool area and around the site in general. The staff are friendly and are helpful. The villa was very spacious and it was quite at night. The internet speed was excellent 200mbps down and 50mbps upload, which made me easily be aim to stream BBC IPlayer and Netflix via VPN with no issues at all. However there are something which didn't sit right with me. Last year we went to Magic Robin in Benidorm and it was an "all-inclusive" and that was brilliant, everything was free and was all part of "The Package". However this was not so at Cristobal. So you get one beer brand. Amstel, that's it. I didn't like it so that was it i was stuck drinking Coke all week. You could get other beer Like sol, but you had to buy them at 3,50 euro each. Same with the Kids drinks, you got Coke, Fanta, Sprite, and Lemon Fanta. They did have slushy's but again you had to pay for them. This should be included in my opinion. At robin hood it was all free, so maybe that was robin hood extremely good value. We had the Emblem suite, which had a hot tub. This was very nice except the ants we had on the kitchen side. We arrived on Friday and I reported it to them on Saturday. Nothing was really done about it, we just had to keep killing them. There was only a single remote to control 2 TVs, and a single remote with no batteries to control each air-con unit in each room. They had a tiny "Arcade" area, however the claw machines didn't work and the football table has rubbish in it and looked like it hadn't been cleaned since bought 15 years ago.... Again all these you have to pay for, there was no free games to play. There was a playground, however this seems to be aimed at much younger children around 3-6 year olds, but we had 2 x 8 Year old boys and a 11 year old girl which was just too small for them. The Entertainment was so bad.. the best part of it was Bingo for the kids. Most of the time it started too late and was so boring at best. They did have some drinks for us in the fridge we when arrived and that was a nice touch. Now the only thing which cause my wife to loose her mind, was there was no English breakfast tea bags. They seem to cater for Coffee drinkers and not tea lovers. The last three days of our holiday the dining time started at 6.30pm instead of 6pm without any explanation for the delay. 7 nights at a cost of £7138.90 and having to pay for extras which should be included, I wouldn't recommend this place again, without is changing its all inclusive selection. It really is shame as it could be so much better with just the little things being cared for...
