First and foremost, I want to give credit where credit is due: the staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly, helpful, and clearly doing their best with the resources they have. Special shoutouts to Andrea at the front desk and Johnny at the Opal Bar — both went out of their way to make us feel welcome and taken care of. We chose this hotel because it was advertised as a kid-friendly property with an included kids club, which was a major factor in our decision to book. However, upon check-in, we were informed that the kids club wasn’t open yet due to ongoing construction and staffing "challenges." To the staff’s credit, they really tried to work around this by finding someone to supervise the kids when they needed a break from the sun, and we appreciate the effort they made to mitigate the situation. That said, the kids club is located right next to the gym, and neither facility has a functioning bathroom, meaning you have to walk all the way back to the main hotel building to use the nearest restroom — a major inconvenience, especially for families with young children. When we arrived in our room, the kids' beds were already set up, and the wraparound balcony with its stunning view of the pool and beach set high expectations for the rest of our stay. Unfortunately, those expectations were not fully met. Here’s where the low score comes in: the photos and descriptions on the website paint a very different picture from the reality on the ground. This hotel may aspire to be a 5-star resort, but it currently falls well short of that standard. It appears that Hyatt has recently acquired an aging property and is in the process of trying to revive it. While there is potential here, the hotel’s infrastructure and layout need significant work to compete with other truly intuitive and modern resorts. For example, the swimming pool itself is quite nice and our kids loved it — but again, there’s no nearby bathroom. Guests are forced to walk all the way back to the lobby area, which is impractical and frustrating. The pool access is also awkward: one staircase is hidden off to the side, while the other takes you through a narrow space right next to the buffet. It’s not a user-friendly setup, particularly for families or guests with mobility needs. Dining options were another pain point. There is no kids menu available at the Opal Bar — the only alternatives are room service or the buffet, which is priced at €28 per child. Honestly, all we needed was a basic option like chicken nuggets and an apple. A simple, reasonably priced children’s menu would go a long way here. As a tip to future guests, there’s a nearby hotel, Grupotel Parc, just a five-minute walk away that offers takeaway options and more flexibility. Overall, our stay was fine — our kids truly enjoyed the pool and the beach, and the staff were kind and accommodating. But when comparing the price point to other 5-star resorts, the value just isn’t there at this stage. The hotel feels like it’s in a transitional phase and isn’t quite ready to deliver on the premium experience it advertises. I genuinely hope management reads this and considers some of these practical suggestions — particularly the need for functional bathrooms near amenities, better layout flow, and more accessible food options for families. There’s potential here, but much work remains to be done.

Location very nice. Direct access to the beach. Quiet location. No holiday tourism. Family-friendly.As part of the renovation, the rooms have been completely refurbished. Access to the balcony is easily accessible through new sliding doors, and when closed, no outside noises can be heard. Only the cabinets could provide a bit more space. After several years of stagnation, the takeover and renovation of the hotel have had a very positive effect. The rooms now make a really good impression. Great importance is placed on cleanliness. Very good sanitary area with a directly accessible shower. It is therefore also suitable for people with physical disabilities. Staff were very friendly, as in previous years. The pool area has been nicely renovated and is in a very good condition. The location with access to the beach is noteworthy. It's no more than 20 meters from the pool area via a short path similar to a wooden bridge. The entire hotel complex is also very well designed. Additionally, there is a very good breakfast and dinner with a wide selection. There should be something for everyone. There are also vegetarian dishes available for those who want them. Overall, we were very satisfied. The staff are a special plus. Always ready to accommodate requests and make the stay as pleasant as possible.Relaxed atmosphere, very good food with a wide selection. Of very high quality. Flavor has improved further compared to previous years. And the food was already very good then. High quality hotel after renovation

Me and Hubby have just returned from a five night stay at this hotel. We really liked the decor and thought it was tasteful/stylish. The pool area is lovely with a pool bar which does particularly great food, I’d say! They played some music for a while round the pool which added a nice relaxed holiday vibe. The staff everywhere in the hotel are incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the breakfasts were yummy! Sourdough with avocado and salmon was my favourite! My only negative is that there is nowhere near enough wardrobe space for hanging, even for five nights! Also, our balcony was tiny! But amazing air con. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes, most definitely. Thank you Hyatt.
