Service level from every single hotel personnel is amazing from day one. Truly genuine kindness is too rare not to be mentioned. Massage experience is a must ! Swimming pool is also very nice. Well designed, confortable and big enough to swim and relax. Free drinks very well served. At last the food is very good and diversified.

Easy jet service from flight, transfer and service was 5 star, including staff at Heraklion airport were fantastic. Unfortunately this hotel has a few issues you need to be aware of; 9 doubled beds 14 loungers 4 bean bags 115 rooms in hotel So only a total 27 people can be around the pool to sunbathe and no alternative places to lay. Rooms have Venetian door in bathroom where you can hear the next rooms conversations as if they are in the room with you. Door to rooms have an issue with closing meaning they close with a loud bang. There is no holder for shower so you will have to hold it with one hand to be able to shower. Food choice is minimal, would rate it 2 star. Some staff are friendly but some don’t appear to not enjoy their job and ignore you. Viewed some staff including manager pick food with fingers and eat. Some electrical wires have not been finished to a safe standard. Avoid this hotel if you like to lounge by the pool, enjoy your food and your sleep. Best thing about this hotel was the beds which were super comfortable. Will be back to Crete but will not return to this hotel.

Lovely, comfortable hotel. A complimentary welcome drink at the bar helped us feel at ease immediately. Bedroom comfy and bathroom adequate. Slight drawback was the lack of storage so we were living out of our cases for the week, mostly. The sound does carry in the corridor a bit so doors being closed seemed quite noisy. We weren’t kept awake but maybe didn’t sleep in late in the morning. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean. It’s a 5-10 minute stroll down to the beach so it’s nice and peaceful being up the hill slightly. The pool area and bar were always well populated without feeling overcrowded. Sunbeds were fully in use most days and when we wanted to use them ourselves, we had no problem. If anything, the structure of the building made it a bit of a suntrap during the day and we found it too hot. There’s more of a refreshing breeze down at the beach. The range of food on offer was always very good. We always found more than enough at breakfast time. We usually had four or five miniature courses at lunch and dinner as there was always so much that looked so good we didn’t want to miss out on anything. Special mention to Marina who, at breakfast, provided easily the best fried eggs I have had at a hotel anywhere. Outstanding. The cocktails on offer at the bar suited us just fine and another special mention goes to Kostas for looking after us so well for the week. The live entertainment offered at the poolside bar wasn't for us so we tended to head elsewhere while they were on but would return afterwards for a nightcap. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and we know, if we were to head back to Crete again, that the Asana Hotel would be a good choice.
