great resort. amazing time. magnificent hospitality. (richard and phillip, 2 of the bartenders are amazing people who truly love what they do and made my stay what it was). i WILL be coming back again and that is thanks to the brilliant hospitality of each and every employee, from the sales men on the beach to the housekeepers; from the ceo to the guy who sweeps the floor. magnificent

Entertaiment is REALLY good. The shows are worth watching them. Met really goof people. Thanks Bobom, Sky, Candy, Estrella, Eduardo Zapata, Juanita, and many others!!!

Went a week with my teenage daughter and upon arriving in the lobby it felt dated and not very beautiful as other resorts that I have stayed at like Rui. Check in was very slow and for arriving at 5 the room keys should have been handed out and ready to go from the bus! We were taken to our room on the SunClub member side but no one explained we were upgraded and could use the facilities here but after a day I figured it out so all good! Our room was very big open concept not really necessary to have a big tub in the room with a small toilet area but I guess it was ok room was clean and maids constantly asked if we needed anything! The beach area has so many chairs and beds however we did not stay for the only reason that the water felt dirty with the sargassum and not appealing to go in. The beach at Bavaro was beautiful with clean blue water and you could walk for miles but not here. The pools look nice however are very dirty when you go in never saw anyone clean them so definitely something that should be done immediately!! They should be cleaned every morning like other hotels do. Entertainment staff are amazing and very engaging in what they do! The people at the resort made the difference as you overlook the other things because you are having fun! Although it is not new and modern like other hotels the staff made up for that!! The food was okay probably better in the restaurants and the Sunclub buffet which also had nicer tables and chairs! The resort gets busy on the weekends with all the locals around so more line ups. Overall we enjoyed our week met a lot of great people here! Entertainment kept us busy and never bored!

Customer Service was less than expected. There were NO servers to take care of any drink needs while at the pool. If you wanted anything, you had to get out of the pool and find a bar for a drink. The few outdoor activities they had available were family friendly but if you needed time out of the sun, there were literally no indoor or shaded options other than to hang out in your room.

Sunscape Coco was such a fun experience, mainly thanks to the amazing entertainment team! They were full of energy, friendly, and really made each day special with games, music, and activities for all ages. From beach volleyball and aqua aerobics to evening shows and dance parties, there was never a dull moment. Sky and Bombom worked hard to make sure everyone felt included and had a great time. It’s clear they love what they do. If you're looking for a resort with a lively, fun atmosphere, this is it!
