Vibra Blanc Cottage

My daughter and I arrived on June 15th. A very quick check in by Daniel who was very friendly and efficient. Our room was ready in the cottage apartments, this was very outdated but I must say it was very clean. The pool area was amazing, so clean but quite deep although there were separate children's pools both at the palace and the cottages. The food was a big let down, plates were cold at dinner and breakfast so hot food just went stone cold immediately. The only really hot meal was the paella which was left simmering, delicious. Even the scrambled egg on a morning was stone cold. However on the good side it was in a very quiet residential area which suited us. The beach at Sa Caleta was wonderful and only a 5 minute walk away. We always managed to get a sunbed. The staff were all amazing, could not fault them. Transport was good to nearby Ciudedella, a must to visit and Cal'n'Bosch which was stunning. The weather was amazing, . Thankyou to all of the staff.👍😊❤️

Second stay in 2 year's at these apartments, we brought the grandchildren this time so a different experience for us . The Negatives first . Not enough umbrellas at poolside, plenty of sunbeds never a shortage but useless without an umbrella for shade as very little shade at all , cannot check into your apartment until 2o'clock , which i can understand as a lot of rooms to clean , but when you arrive at 10.30 that's a long time to wait , we got changed and went poolside, had some food etc , was told we'd get a call once apartment was ready , it got to nearly 3 o'clock and no call , getting tired as like many been travelling and up since 1.am in the morning we wanted to get settled in , I went to the desk and asked if our apartment was ready as no phone call yet , suddenly a key materialised and we were given our apartment , nearly 5 hours after we'd arrived, not great really. Got to the apartment, very nice , clean , everything you need , BUT on going to make a cuppa , the lead from the kettle and toaster were not long enough to reach the socket ( see picture) , we actually found a small trolley in the downstairs bedroom and used that to plug the appliances into the socket, not great if little one's about, but did us . We were provided with a dish sponge, a dish cloth, a small bottle of wash liquid, but no dish drainer or tea towel , I'd brought a small face flannel so used this as a drainer to put wet dishes on . We ran out of wash liquid 2 day's before returning home and didn't want to have to buy a full bottle just for 2 day's, so I asked at reception if I could possibly have another bottle ( they are tiny ) and I'd have left it for next person, I was NO the shop is down the road , seriously not good customer service . Positives Really clean apartments, room service everyday, towels, loo roll , beds made , rubbish taken , new rubbish bags put in , can't fault the service it's excellent. All areas kept clean , staff very polite and friendly, can't help you enough ( unless you need wash soap) 🤣 Pool attendants are excellent, do a very good job 👏 Entertainment team also excellent, work very hard . It's a safe secure environment for everyone, pool cleaned everyday , likewise pool area . On site shop extortionate prices , we go to the Discount supermarket up the road, only 10- 15 minutes away , walk up , have a drink , food at the cafe , get shopping and get a taxi back £4-5 really cheap and worth it . Do not buy any frozen food as NO freezer in the apartments or oven to cook anything, microwave, toaster, kettle and two hob rings are what you have , but more than sufficient for the basics, bacon , eggs , toast, soup , pasta etc are easy to whip up , even did hot dogs for the kids . Buses are excellent to citudella and Calen Bosch harbour where there are enough shops, restaurants, cafes , bars , a market on the harbour to keep anyone happy. Little choice of any place to eat at the resort, beach bar at beach doing snacks , poolside cafe open until 6 o'clock, excellent service , lovely staff and very good food . Street food van down the road but that's it at the resort. Can't comment on the hotel restaurant as didn't use it , we did enquire about eating there as we're SC , got told if availability then it's €20 each for buffet style dining . All in all another great holiday at these apartments, will definitely return but NOT in July as too noisy and too many kiddies, poolside very loud from early until late every day , can't sit on balcony to relax or read as too much noise , we came in June last year , so peaceful and not so crowded, it would be nice if a quiet space could be made for those people who just want to read and chill out in peace as plenty of older couples there without children, all searching for a bit of space and quiet to relax but none can be found .

Just returned from our 2nd trip here and had the best holiday once again! Stayed for 7 nights in a 2 bedroomed apartment. Room was ready when we arrived at noon. They have workers around this year to help find your room which is a bonus as its tricky to find them. Rooms are huge and clean, cleaners come everyday and make up beds , remove rubbish and change towels if needed. Air con in each room. Pools were warm but temperatures were 30+ so that helped warm them up! Lots of sunbeds available even when we went at 10am. Entertainment team are great. Things going on in the day darts.. pool.. bingo.. quizzes with the winners getting a free cocktail/mocktail 🍸 evening entertainment is over at the Palace, kids disco at 8.30 then main act at 9.30. Kids club was open this year which wasn't last year, my children absolutely loved the girls that ran it, they are a real credit to the vibra team they are so kind and welcoming to all the children. Club is ran in a big open room opposite the kids pool so its easy to keep an eye on your children or for them to come back if they want (staff escorted children back to parents) The children loved the fair themed day where they had inflatable slides, balloon modelling and face painting all free of charge and enough staff to manage it safely. Can't comment on the food as we went self catering but people I spoke to said the food was good and lots of variety. Pizza and chips are good from the pool bar. Site shop is very limited but there's a small shop and a large supermarket about 10/15 minutes walk away. We walked there and took a taxi back costing €6 Overall we had a lovely relaxing holiday and really didn't want to leave. We're already looking at booking again for August 🙏

We went as a family of 4 self catering staying in a 2 bedroom apartment at the Vibra Blanc Cottage. On arrival we had to check in at the Vibra Palace which is a 2 minute walk up the road and had to wait until 2pm to get our room key but we had the full use of facilities and stayed most days at the Vibra Palace pool which is huge with loads of sun beds and has a really good snack bar there also. The pool area up at the Vibra Palace is definitely the place to go if you haven’t got young children as the pool is really deep and if you’re children or adults are not great swimmers I wouldn’t recommend the Palace pool. I can’t really comment on the pool at the Vibra Cottage as we didn’t spend time there but did pass through to get to the beach and it all looked decent with lots of young families using it. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in was spotlessly clean (and a big shout out to the cleaners who were excellent and really friendly and came everyday) but it was tired and dated. We had plenty of cutlery, dishes, pots and pans etc. There are 2 hob rings a microwave and a small fridge/freezer so it would be quite difficult to cook a decent meal as there is no oven. The beds and pillows were comfy etc and we had plenty of towels etc. There is a small shop in the Vibra Sa Caleta block which is a 2/3 minute walk across the road, there is a small selection of food, fresh bread, water etc . The largest closest supermarket is Diskont which is about 2/3 minute drive away and that has everything. There is also a Lidl and Aldi but they are about a 8/10 minute drive away. The beach is a 2/3 minute walk (Sa Calleta) and it is a small cove and absolutely beautiful with only a beach bar there and around 50 sun beds if you want to hire them. Plenty of room also to just chuck down your towels and get in the beautiful water. The other beaches close by are Cala Santandria which is about a 10 minute walk and the town beach at Ciutadella which is about a 20 minute walk. There is only one pub and one restaurant close by - so it is quiet and we hired a car for the full week so it was easier to get about and go to different restaurants. My sister in law stayed also in a 1 bedroom apartment and that had a recent refurb and was really nice - so hopefully the other rooms will be done sooner rather than later. We had a great week and for what we paid for the holiday was really good value. Note:- we found eating out every night was quite expensive .

We had a brilliant holiday at Vibra Blanc Cottages. It’s in a great location - close to the town and a gorgeous beach. We spent most our time at the beach which was a few minute walk and perfect for the kids as the water was shallow and calm. Staff are great and friendly. Rooms were clean and very spacious. The kids loved the kids club and mini disco. Thank you for a lovely holiday! Would definitely recommend.
