We booked this hotel as part of our loyalty to the group. As All Diamond members, we are normally very pleased with the majority of hotels we book. This one however disappointed. No welcome package (Hotels normally make their mark with this one) A concierge that didn't deliver (They seemed untrained) Air-conditioning issues which couldn't be fixed lead to poor sleep. (No alternate room offered) We had requested for hard pillows -normally not an issue, but this hotel didn't deliver. (Most hotels offer pillow menus for a comfortable night's rest) No bathrobes or slippers (Another expected standard) When we raised it with reception, we were told that if we came back, they would make sure we had these amenities. Why would we want to return, if they couldn't deliver the first time on a fully paid-for stay? You should make your customers WANT to return. We expect more.

We stayed at Hyde for four nights last week and we had a good time. However, would I return? Not so sure. The hotel is really good at some things, but frustratingly poor on other things....particularly for the price we paid. Starting with the good stuff - location is wonderful, staff on reception were helpful and lovely, we always got a breakfast table outside and the staff there was great (and it was super busy), our Platinum sea view suite was perfect for our needs (originally for three people) and it was quiet - I'm a light sleeper, so really appreciated the hotel placing us on the top floor. Whether you enjoy the loud music by the main pool is personal. Getting taxis was super easy - the reception staff would call and you'd have one within 2 mins. However, the hotel could be so much better and here are my suggestions: * ensure that breakfast items are topped up frequently (no muesli two days in a row, no pancakes one day, and whilst they say it's served till 11, if you get there after 10.15, the items on offer are not as plentiful). Please also note that whilst the buffet is fairly wide ranging, the food looks absolutely nothing like it does on the website. * we had mentioned we were there to celebrate our anniversary. A kind congratulations was offered upon check in, but nothing else. Now, of course you shouldn't expect anything, but this is the first hotel I've stayed in that hasn't offered a goodwill gesture of a bowl of fruit / bottle of cava / cake - not necessary, but it's that kind of gesture that makes a guest feel special and makes you want to return * we had booked our suite for 3 people, but unfortunately only 2 of us could travel. Good job as housekeeping had not set up the sofa bed for us and had there were only towels, water, glasses etc for 3 people. When I asked for more water, it was provided promptly. I did enquire as to whether they could modify the price accordingly, but was told they were unable to do so as we had booked via booking.com. Seemed a bit mean, but I understood. Again, hotels that you remember and recommend go the extra mile to deliver customer satisfaction. * I would encourage check in staff to share more information about the hotel - the sunbed situation is confusing. Once you've exchanged your tokens for towels by the main pool near the bar area, you can only use some loungers for free. If you ask, you may be given different guidance (as we did from two staff members) - the truth is that if you want to sit on the stripey beds in the main pool area or some (but not all) Bali beds, you need to pay either 100euros (usable against what you buy) or 80 euros per person - no idea which was the real price as I was adamant that if we were already paying over 450 euros a night to stay here, it was outrageous to be charged to sit by the pool! Note that you can use the Bali beds and other loungers by the Bungalow pool for free, and the ones on a L shape facing you if you're at the towel station by the main pool. Get there by 8.30am though - in peak season, I can imagine it can be tricky to secure a bed. At check in, I think staff could also share more about what is going on around the hotel e.g. yoga and painting. All in all, we had a good time and had we only paid for a king room, I'm sure it would have felt better value. Just note that it's a large hotel and as such, you are one of hundreds of fellow guests. Consequently expect decent treatment, but nothing particularly memorable or special. For that, I think you need to choose a boutique hotel.

Stayed here recently for a week with some friends. Check in was straight forward and they saved our luggage and we could use the facilities till our rooms were ready. Would have been helpful to have been told how to work the coffee machine in the room, and also where we got pool towels from - but we figured it out! We were told we should receive a welcome pack on arrival but we didn't! Gorgeous hotel with lovely spacious rooms, we stayed in a basic king. Towels and toiletries are provided in the rooms and these are replaced daily. Breakfast is nice and lots of choice. Pool and bar areas were really nice, and bar staff were helpful. Plenty of loungers in the pools away from the DJ - no chance of reserving one in the DJ area - came down at 8am one morning and they were already reserved! No events or entertainment at night which was shame but hotel is close to a local town so we went out every evening. Would stay again and would recommend

We have stayed in this area before and absolutely breathtaking views of the beach and surrounding mountains. We are still here for another few days and cannot fault this place at. Ignore the bad reviews. It’s Ibiza, it’s a cool lively music place, but not in your face, and plenty of other areas to move to if you feel it’s too party vibe or just want a more quiet break for a while. Every member of staff are unbelievably helpful and friendly. They do not stop all day to make sure you have what you need, food and drinks. I’ve never been to a place more well staffed or organised. Rooms cleaned spotlessly everyday. Easy to commute to other places and boat taxi right at bottom of the steps to the beach. Looking forward to the next few days and wish we’d stayed long to be honest. Fantastic holiday and will 100% return.

I had an amazing stay at Hyde the atmosphere was elegant, and everything felt well taken care of. The room was spotless, with a comfortable bed, plenty of space, and a beautiful view of the surrounding I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area — great value for money
