Not quite sure where to start with this review… I stay in Hilton Hotels regularly, and at Curio hotels most of the time. They are generally quirky but offer real quality. I can’t say that this time. While the bedroom was comfortable enough…the air conditioning refused to go below 24c. So you never cooled down. I had read this in other reviews, but didn’t really believe we would have the same issue. Having arrived at midnight, due to a delayed flight, rather than complain we just put up with it and unpacked! A lesson learned. The bathroom was the most bizarre part of the room. The shower, if I can call it that, only had a hand held shower! No over head element at all. You could see it used to be there before recent renovations but not anymore. It was just inconvenient and extremely disappointing. We are in 2025…we need proper showers! A lot of people were upgraded on their arrivals into much better rooms toward the top of the resort. Despite being a Hilton Honors Gold member…we didn’t get that privilege! The food was the next disappointment, but that does need clarified. There was a poor buffet. Always offering the same food, lunch and dinner, with certainly very little variation. If your kids want spag bol, every meal, don’t worry they can have it and not a lot else. The upside was the three a la carte restaurants. All were really good, with great food and service. We particularly liked the Greek and Italian but the Asian fusion was just as good. Drinks are pretty much local, with no real brands that you get in other premium all inclusive. Which was disappointing. The overall pool area was fine, with a good bar. There is no pool or beach service, again something you would expect for the price. The Yummy Truck promises food, drinks and dips…but it is just burgers, hot dogs and chips! No drinks for sure…and the dips are the sauces. But it was tasty enough. The pool area needs some attention. Weeds growing out from the side of the pool, beside the steps and a constant film around the outside of the water, just makes it feel a bit unclean. The beds, which have good thick cushions are comfortable, but as they are wood they do need attention. There are bolts falling off, wood that has gone rotten and is falling off. They look great, but if you are going with wood…look after them. So overall a bit disappointing. We went because of the reputation we have got for Curio Hotels. Will we back…to Rhodes…yes! To this hotel…no. We will be at the Mayia Exclusive Resort next year.

Wlasnie wrocilismy z tygodniowego wypoczynku w tym pieknym hotelu. Pogoda nam dopisala. Na samym wejsciu przywitani zostaliśmy przez miłą obsługę. Caly hotel jest bardzo zadbany i zielony, ze strumykiem plynącym miedzy domkami. To co najbardziej wplynelo na nasz wypoczynek to przepyszne jedzenie serwowane w hotelu. Z trzech restauracji a la carte najbardziej smakowala nam kuchnia grecka, Lakani i Pitaroudia są przepyszne ale także buffet przygotowany na czas lunchu. Polecam zupe z soczewicy! Hotel ma swój dostep do morza i bardzo wygodne lezaki.

I rarely write reviews but felt I had to so as to warn others that are planning to stay here to seriously review your options to change before getting here. This has to have been the worse experience we have had on an all inclusive package holiday. We had 12 nights booked and had to leave and relocate after 3 days as we just could not stay here and endure as it was that bad. The room was very poorly maintained and cleanliness appalling. Several repairs just sub-standard and not befitting a 5* hotel. Toilet roll holder was an absolute disgrace and hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. Repairs that had been undertaken to the toilet ceiling were substandard and a complete bodge. The grounds were supposedly award winning but the reality is that they had not been maintained and were completely baron in most areas, the award winning beach had weeds throughout. the sun-bed covers were disgusting and had not been cleaned for such a long time and most of the timber beds were broken. The filtration grill at the poolside had plants growing out of it which leads you to think how clean is the water. The buffet was another let down and was extremely limited and in most cases the hot food was cold including one pork dish that was raw in the centre. Cleanliness in the restaurant was poor, the shelf above the omelette station had a build up of residue and fluff and the windows had not been cleaned in a very long time. The evenings entertainment was a small blue tooth speaker on top of the bottle fridge with music from the bar staff's play list. The main bar was located next to a feature river that was very dirty which lead to numerous insect bites and the outdoor lighting to this area had about 80% of the bulbs out. The hotel will probably reply (as they have to most reviews) and say they take things seriously and will address issues immediately but when we have looked back at previous reviews the issues still remain such as the food being cold food which is an easy fix but it hasn't been addressed In summary, the pictures and description of this hotel on the travel company's site has you believing the hotel is an exclusive, beautiful and luxurious resort, which may have been accurate a long time ago. The reality is that it has lacked general maintenance to keep it up to a 5* standard is now extremely poor throughout. The facilities such as the pool was appalling and the food was limited and just poor. We could not endure 12 nights here and left after only 3 nights, we all work hard for our holidays and this was a complete disappointment from the moment we arrived. If you are expecting a 5* experience then please look elsewhere as you will be disappointed.

It was that bad we moved hotels within 24Hrs. I can say that we have never stayed somewhere and had to move hotels. Do not be fooled by the photos and the pictures of reception. This is run down, under staffed and dirty. The food was awfull and the attitude of most staff was unexceptable. Everything is help yourself, staff are only there to relay the tables! Dont dare to ask questions or for anything! There is only one bar at night which has one of every spirt no premium brands and all held around a court yard which was infested with mosquitos. There was no effort to even help with the swarms,no candles or deterent. I was bitten to pieces on my first night so many times i looked like i had chicken pox. Everyone was walking around with repellant in there hands. Do not expect a comfortable or clean seat as there arent enough to go round. We had a room with its own swimming pool and garden area. So run down and dirty. The pool was covered in insects and had a green rim all the way around. The paint was peeling, it was disgusting. The sun loungers were filthy and the whole area un loved. Patio was dirty and grime. The bathroom is the worst i have ever been in. Dirty dosent describe it, window falling off, cracked tiles, plugs coming out the wall and the drains were disgusting and the smell made you heave. The following morning went to breakfast, that was not a plesant experience with food or staff. A lady moved table because of the wasps and the waiter was rude! Went to the the pool where the sun loungers where filthy. No towels. When we asked we were told we had to wait because they were being turned round in the laundry. What was meant was the were being washed and we had to wait for them to come back. Why does a hotel nothave enough towels. We waited over a hour and still no towels. At the pool bar chairs were missing cushions or there werent any. And if there were the yet again were disgusting. The pool was run down, dirty and paint peeling off it. It also had green slime. We went to the burger hut, forget it! The poor lady was sweating under the heat. The food was inedible. The ice cream palour was not open all the time we were there. After walking round the hotel which was rundown, dirty and very unloved. We spoke to concerige. We sat in front of her and eventually she put down her phone. The most un interested and rude person we had met. Just didnt care as if this was normal. We decided to move hotels, which saved our holiday from being a disaster to a great one. We booked with Sovergin Holidays and the moved us with in 3 hrs after sending photos etc. All i can say is do go here, so disspointed. I cannot express how run down and dirty this hotel was. Do not waste your hard earned money on this hotel. Hilton and the managers of this hotel should be ashamed that they even advertise this as they do, totally mis sold.

Lindian Village, South Rhodes – Beautiful Setting, But Not Quite 5-Star My partner and I recently stayed at Lindian Village and while we had a lovely holiday overall, we both felt that for the price paid, the experience didn’t quite live up to what we expect from a 5-star resort. Positives first: The hotel grounds are beautiful, well-maintained, and very peaceful. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated, and very clean – a definite highlight of the stay. The hotel has a relaxed, picturesque atmosphere and it’s clear a lot of care has gone into the aesthetic of the place. That said, a few things let it down: • Location – This hotel is very remote. If you’re not planning to leave the resort, this might suit you perfectly, but we found it quite isolating. A taxi to Rhodes Old Town cost us €120 each way, and even Lindos was €30 each way. When you’re already paying a premium for the hotel, these added costs quickly stack up. • The Pool – While a decent size, the pool was not the cleanest I’ve used. Although we saw staff cleaning in the mornings, the water still felt grubby at times. Most surprisingly, there was no pool service. For a 5-star resort, having to get up, walk to the bar, and queue for drinks doesn’t quite cut it. • Service – The staff were all polite and pleasant, but overall service felt stretched. For example, at dinner, finishing your drink didn’t often prompt an offer of a refill. One standout was a lovely man in the Italian restaurant at lunch who was consistently attentive – but that level of service wasn’t the norm elsewhere. It just seemed like there weren’t enough staff for the number of guests. • Food – The buffet was decent, though a bit repetitive – fairly typical for all-inclusive. The à la carte restaurants were enjoyable, but the food wasn’t anything to write home about. The Asian restaurant was probably the tastiest of the lot. • Entertainment – This was really lacking. Unless you’re a big drinker, there’s very little to do in the evenings. One night we noticed most couples just playing cards in the courtyard because there was nothing else going on. Again, not something we’ve experienced at other 5-star resorts. In summary: Lindian Village is a beautiful, serene hotel with lovely rooms and a peaceful setting, but it falls short of delivering a true 5-star experience. Service, pool cleanliness, entertainment, and overall value just didn’t match the premium price tag. We still had a lovely break, but there’s definitely something missing here that stops it from feeling truly luxurious.
