Nautilux Rethymno by Mage Hotel

Hotel otwarty w połowie czerwca 2022 miałam obawy dokonując rezerwacji czy hotel będzie gotowy i w pełni funkcjonował podczas mojego pobytu bo różnie bywa z nowymi obie katami ale pomyliłam się hotel działał w 100% na wysokim poziomie ,nowoczesny obiekt bezpośrednio przy plaży,pokoje duże przestronne,warto dopłacić do widoku na morze ,śniadania urozmaicone ,w niedziele brunch z muzyką na żywo ,obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna,hotel położony około 2 km od ścisłego centrum ,jak dla mnie na tą chwile nr 1 w Rethymno

This is an amazing hotel in an excellent location. Everything throughout our 10 day stay was perfect. Rooms - we had a double room with a sea and pool view - it was very nice, comfortable bed and a great shower. The room was cleaned daily (perfectly) and there is a lovely 'turn-down' service in the evening. Pool/beach area - beautiful pool area with lots of sunbeds. Very rarely did you see people puting towels down and then dissapearing and if you did their towels were often removed. Always plenty of beds down by the sea as well. Restaurant - we had the Full Board Premium package which was perfect. Breakfast each day was very good with lots of choices. Lunch from the pool bar was excellent, and in the evenings the restaurant buffet was very good with lots of choice and food freshly cooked and replenished throughout the evening. And fanatstic cocktails from the bar team! The Nautilux Team - the highlight was the team at the hotel. Everyone works so hard, in that heat, yet they are all, without exception, absolutely fantastic at what they do, always friendly and always helpful. Nothing is too much. It was not always easy to read name badges but a really big thank you to them all. We were very lucky to be looked after by Eirini, Irene, Olina, Vivi, Stella and Marcos a lot of the time. Thank you to Zania in Guest Relations too. Location - its about a 30 minute walk along the seafront into Rethymno, a really pleasant walk, and here you will find so many places to eat. Despire being full board we walked in a few evenings and had dinner which was lovely. 7 or 8 euros back in a cab. Overall - Fully recommended, you will not be dissapointed. Just wonderful.

After a 3hr coach transfer (I would recommend a taxi, €110, about 1hr 30 depending on traffic) it was so nice to be met by the wonderful Arizana who was waiting for us on the steps of the Nautilux. We were offered cold towels and fresh lemon drink, which was so needed, and then Arizana checked us in and escorted us to our room. The room was spotlessly clean with robes and slippers, wash gel and lotion, which smelled lovely, and no need to take a hairdryer there’s a perfectly good one in the room. Yes, the wardrobe isn’t particularly long, as we had read in other reviews, but considering my friend and I wear mainly maxi dresses we managed to hang them without too much problem or creasing. We always take travel hangers so could hang everything and as there are no drawers kept other things in our cases. The rooms have fridges which are refilled with water daily and had a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. Our room 743 had a fabulous view of the pools, beach and sea and we could sit on the balcony and watch the beautiful sunsets. Our room was a double so we asked if this could be changed to a twin as we were two friends holidaying together which they accommodated no problem. Breakfast was superb, plenty of choice and good quality as was the food and drinks available from the pool bar during the day. Pools and beach are very nice with lovely comfy loungers and fresh pool towels everyday free to use. All the staff are amazing, friendly, always professional and we felt welcomed from the minute we arrived. They are always willing to help with any requests and made our stay enjoyable and special thanks to Arizana who was just lovely. The Spa is definitely worth a visit. We had the most incredible massages thanks to Aspa and Mano, and used our complimentary 15 mins added to our treatments, which is a really nice touch. Location is ideal, 25-30mins walk into the old town or €8 in a taxi, and the taxi rank is just down the road from the hotel on the waterfront promenade opposite the Resmo Medi Resto & Bar which was our favourite, but there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.

i have had a good time over my stay. The hotel is elegant, peaceful and it fits especially for couple. Staff is welcoming, reserved and always ready to satisfy the requests of guests. The swimming pool is next to the beach, where the sunbeds are free. I had only breakfast and i don't advice to have dinner, since the price is about 53 euro. The waterfront is close to the hotel where you can find restaurants and bars inexpensive. To move around the hotel is easy and i enjoy world class hotel built on two floors. To me rethymno is the best place to stay in the west part of Crete. Chania, Balos and elafonissi are not a great distance away and tour operators offer daily tour at prices good value for money.

It’s the nicest hotel I’ve visited. The cleanliness is overrated and the staff are wonderful. The guests agent Arizana is a great person. She makes you feel like home at the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and will surely come back again.
