I had a lovely 5 night stay, there are far more positives about this hotel than not. It’s in a beautiful spot with lovely rooms, great pools and a beautiful beach. I stayed in a 5th floor room on B&B basis and it had a lovely view. To compare it against other Dome hotels I’ve been to may be unfair but being part of the same ‘chain’ does mean you assume standards will be the same and I can’t say this was quite as good. To focus on some points made by others: Breakfast - B’Fast is a scrum, no way around it but do they try to seat adults away from those with children if possible. 8am is optimum time. The food is not particularly hot though seems to be often replenished. The app is good - when it works. I had 2 days of working, 3 days not and no obvious reason so it made it difficult to order drinks (for example). Fire alarm - we had a 3.30am alarm and everyone trooped outside, down the fire stairs but there were no staff around, other than a stressed receptionist and a security guard who just kept saying ‘yes it’s safe yes it’s safe’ to encourage people back to their rooms so that was a bit disconcerting. The Cleaners work very hard as do the Beach bar staff. Restaurants - Oriental was lovely and the food delicious. Meze was misleading and sadly had v little authentic Greek food available. The main lunch restaurant was great and the staff super responsive even when dealing with some less than polite customers. I did get a 10% discount on room charges at check out, I wasn’t sure if that was due to being a Marriott member or because I queried some charges I did not expect on my bill. Either way it was resolved quickly. All that said it’s a great hotel, it really is but they are very short staffed, the staff there are having to work very very hard. I heard a couple querying why some of the restaurants were due to be closed at the weekend and if I’d been staying at the weekend I would not have been happy due to the remoteness of the hotel not to have everything available. Very much a family hotel, there were a lot of pre school age children but I didn’t mind that. If it’s not your thing this is not the hotel for you.

A wow from the minute you get there. The Domes of Corfu. An experience like no other. As soon as it’s in eyesight you know it’s going to be spectacular. From stepping out the taxi, we were treat like royalty. We were taken to the most comfiest lounge to be welcomed in personally. The man whose name we did not get unfortunately was so lovely, informative and friendly. You could tell he wanted to make sure our stay was the best it could be. He continued to ask us how we were throughout our stay and it was so nice to have that. The first day we were directed to go eat at Spianada as checking wasn’t til 3pm. We had a lovely meal there. Staff were smiley and checked in on any allergies we may have. I had a nut allergy and they made sure everything was safe. This continued throughout the whole holiday and I was extremely grateful staff learned and remembered about this throughout our stay. It made me feel safe and listened to. The room was gorgeous. We were on the 7th floor (729) and had a sea view room. The view was spectacular. The balcony was made for a perfect morning coffee and an evening drink. The bed was comfy, the only downside I would say would be the shower in the bath which wasn’t comfortable. The adult pool option was great. Being on our honeymoon, we didn’t want to be around children as such. Yes, you can still hear them but the atmosphere around this pool was calm and relaxed. We both had a couples massage on our last day, again fantastic! The cleanliness of the hotel was perfect. You could tell there was not a speck of dirt or grime anywhere. But then, the hotel is practically a walking art piece so I would expect nothing less. Its design features and quirkiness was truly impressive. I couldn’t stop taking photos of both the inside architecture and the outside. Both are so beautiful. Quite frankly, I don’t think you could ever beat a stay at the Domes of Corfu. Their prised possession not being the obvious stunning views of the Ionian Sea and the beautiful Glyfada beach but the genuinely wonderful people that work there. They are the ones who work hard to make the place the way it is. They the ones who work extremely hard to deliver a 5 star experience. I do hope they pass on our sincere thanks to all the staff for making our honeymoon so gorgeous. I wish I could remember all the names but a few we did remember were; Thomas (Agora Restaurant), Sophia and Alexandra (Spianada), Tia, Ioanna and Katarina (who seemed to be everywhere). We are already planning to visit again soon.

We spent 5 nights at Domes of Corfu and had a fantastic time. The hotel is in a beautiful location, right by the beach with amazing views and crystal clear water. The staff were very kind and helpful from the moment we arrived. Everyone made us feel welcome and taken care of. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, with a lovely sea view. The bed was great and we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner – lots of tasty food and fresh options every day. The whole place is calm, elegant, and perfect for relaxing. The pool area and the beach were always clean and peaceful. We had a great experience and would happily come back. Highly recommended
