Tivoli Alvor Algarve Resort

Really nice hotel. Pools are great and great facilities such as football court, splash pool, paddle Court, inflatables. Food was plentiful and tasty. Only.issue is that its luke warm at best. They cook roo.much food and it ends up losing its heat. A couple of microwaves would solve this. But all in all, a great hotel, I had a excellent stay and would return

Just back from this hotel, couldn’t fault the hotel. Decor was stunning everything was immaculately clean the pools were great, food and drink was as you’d expect with an all inclusive hotel buffet style, would 100% return. Steakhouse was really nice and the staff everywhere were all lovely and friendly. One of the bar men at the Shore Bar made our toddler little mocktails and was playing tricks with ice he was amazing, very entertaining! Wish I’d taken his name. When we arrived Luis helped us up to the room with our pram and cases he was so lovely and friendly with us and our toddler and really made us feel so welcome by showing us around the room making sure we could use the safe etc. he was great! Only negative experience we had was in the Italian restaurant. Couldn’t fault the actual restaurant, decor was lovely and the food was really great as well, we had man serving us I won’t give his name but he kept lingering at our table, interrupting us clearing up, asking us for drinks but he was over serving us to the point it was ruining the meal. He kept trying to serve me alcohol when I’m clearly heavily pregnant and was refusing. My husband got up for the toilet and he came over and asked me to review the hotel and mention his name, asked me to download the app there and then was very awkward, kept saying his name over and over. A few mins later he came over again with his name and his colleagues name on a sheet of paper and asked me again to mention them both this time. Made us feel as though he had only been serving us to get credit, even although he had overserved us and kept interrupting the meal, was a shame as the whole experience was awkward. Saw the same waiter around the hotel a few times after that and he didn’t even say hi or smile so was obvious he just wanted credit, felt very icky. Other than that we genuinely had a lovely experience and would 100% return to the hotel and redo the holiday!

The hotel itself was okay, but there wasn’t much to do in the surrounding area. The food at the hotel was average at best — it was never served hot, just lukewarm, which was a bit disappointing. The drinks weren’t anything special either, and we were only given small glasses for soft drinks, which meant having to keep going back for refills. Entertainment in the evening didn’t last long enough and felt a bit rushed. Overall, it was fine for a quick getaway, but I wouldn’t rush back
