Dreamland, Maldives

Ten resort powstał całkiem niedawno, ale ma mnóstwo atutów. Kapitalny widok z każdego domku, dobre jedzenie, sporo atrakcji (gry, nurkowanie, zwiedzanie), ale przede wszystkim kapitalna, wiecznie uśmiechnięta obsługa. Szczególnie podczas posiłków, gdzie obsługują osoby różnych narodowości (ze Srilanki czy Bangladeszu), wyczuwa się znakomitą atmosferę, której najbardziej żal podczas opuszczania wyspy. Sama wysepka jest mała, ale dysponuje boiskiem do tenisa, siatkówki, można pograć rzutki, bule, piłkarzyki czy tenis stołowy. Do tego dobrze wyposażona siłownia. Super jest też restauracja z widokiem na ocean, podobnie jak Drink Bar, gdzie od czasu do czasu grają lokalni wykonawcy. Do samych beach bungalow również trudno się przyczepić. Przestronny salon, ogromna łazienka, całkiem nieźle działające Wi-Fi. Serdecznie polecamy wszystkim, którzy szukają spokoju i miejsca, do którego myślami będą jeszcze wracali nie raz. Mieliśmy przecudowny domek na wodzie - wszystko nowe, czyściutkie, serwis porządkowy 2 x dziennie, wygodne łóżko, świetne wyposażenie, po prostu idealnie. Wyspa jest mała, ale piękna z bujną roślinnością i zjawiskowym, cudownym, nie spotykanym nigdzie indziej jeziorkiem. Wokół tego jeziora zlokalizowana jest jedna restauracja, jeden bar i recepcja. Druga restauracja ma widok na morze, a drugi bar położony jest przy pięknej piaszczystej plaży skąd można obserwować najpiękniejsze zachody słońca. W barach doskonała obsługa i imponująca paleta markowych drinków (niektóre dodatkowo płatne). W restauracjach również miła obsługa kelnerska, a wyżywienie jest w pełni zadowalające. Hotel organizuje codziennie jakieś wycieczki i w opcji All jedna jest gratis … a pozostałe za rozsądną odpłatnością. Jest również dodatkowo centrum nurkowania, gdzie w ofercie są bardziej profesjonalne podwodne wyprawy. Jest też wypożyczalnia sprzętu wodnego typu kajaki, jetski, itp. Niesamowity jest szef hotelu, który na naszą prośbę zorganizował nam prywatną wycieczkę na bezludną wyspę. Było wspaniale - jeszcze raz bardzo dziękujemy. Nie mogę też nie wspomnieć jakimi niesamowitymi niespodziankami obdarowało nas szefostwo hotelu z okazji urodzin żony - to były jej najlepsze urodziny. Dziękujemy. Podsumowując hotel ten zdecydowanie polecam … po prostu szkoda nam było po 11 dniach z niego wracać.

Where do you begin, what a fantastic holiday we have just had here at Dreamlands the whole experience was 5 star, the island itself was amazing the snorkelling brilliant. The staff were exceptional and the food was great, i would defy any foodie to say different always something to eat my wife & stayed here for 12 night from the 7th June the beach bungalow we stayed in (156) was on the southern side of the island adjacent to the sea view restaurant, shop and lake bar just minutes walk from the sunset bar and the rest of the island amenities, its location was just about the most ideal location on the whole island perfect views across the Indian Ocean, temperatures abated by the breeze from the south east just idyllic. As for the service - attention to detail it was just incredible our room was cleaned twice a day the front deck area a wonderful spot for an afternoon snooze out of the sun, the beach and indeed the whole of the island was green lush and immaculately tidy. the room itself was kept to an impeccable standard - the highlights for us were the staff always always greeted with a cheerful smile and a chat what ever the time of day. This place epitomises the desert island feel - wildlife abound - lizard's, gecko's, hermit crabs, birds, bats, cheeky pickpocket parrots !! and that's just above the water, virtually every type of tropical fish in the sea here - turtles nursing & black fin sharks on and within our reef most days, stingrays to name but a few, lost of stafish sea slugs and live coral too Yes the lake is freshwater and the jungle surrounding it does allow the mosquitoes to thrive but the staff try their best to keep them under control with fumigation works most evenings my wife suffers badly from bites, she used deet solution and this kept the bites to minimum (in fact she was bitten more in Greece) so its not an issue to worry about. We did the manta snorkelling trip sad to say we didn't get to meet these beautiful creatures - neither the dolphins on the lucky dolphin trip but did catch a fish afterwards whilst sea fishing, was fortunate to have a birthday whilst on the island the Maldivan people made it really special in the restaurant birthday cake and a decorated bed !! Total relaxation achieved on this holiday for both myself and my wife, if your thinking about going for the experience of a lifetime look no further.

Just arrived back in the UK and already looking at returning. Absolutely fabulous island kept immaculate by the grounds staff who do a great job. Stayed in a beach bungalow (149) and what a location as many of the other bungalows are. The staff are very polite and attentive and nothing seems too much trouble for them. The room was kept immaculate over the 2 weeks by our room attendant who worked tirelessly moving from one lodge to another making your holiday perfect. Endless amount of food on offer at meal times with a good selection of salads, mains and desserts and fruit. The snorkelling is out of this world with so many different types of fish of all sizes, had endless turtle encounters just outside our bungalow in the lagoon and was lucky enough to have an encounter with a Giant Moray Eel , Snowflake Moray Eel and Camouflage Grouper together with the islands Nurse Sharks which were most impressive. There is a small shop selling bits but do expect to pay inflated prices i.e.. paid 38 dollars for a factor 50 sun lotion and some ear plugs for 22 dollars (required for an ear infection). There are some relatively reasonable souvenirs here and you can get postcards and stamps and post in reception. We had a television in our room but did not put it on once over the two weeks. We were offered an upgrade on arrival to a water bungalow but really wanted a beach bungalow so stuck with that and did not regret it once. Be prepared to get a few mosquito bites but the overall holiday satisfaction you will get here makes it worthwhile. We sprayed our room regularly and took extra precautions with bands , plug ins etc but still managed a few bites. Have brought back some wonderful memories and if you are thinking of going don't read too many reviews just go , you will not be disappointed. If you want lots of nightlife and shops to spend your money this is perhaps not for you but if you want a relaxing break this is just the tonic. Where do i begin……..after arriving on a seaplane (amazing experience) we were taken to reception to be greeted with a cold towel & a lovely drink. We stayed in a beach bungalow no 160 which was perfect with our own little beach, perfectly placed for everything…….the staff are amazing, very friendly but not in your face …….we did lots of snorkelling from outside our bungalow…..we saw beautiful fish & one day nurse sharks swimming so close …..wow. The island is kept very clean by the staff. They offer a free trip we chose the snorkelling adventure one which was amazing we saw turtles, beautiful fish & sharks. We also did the sunset dolphin trip……we did indeed see the dolphins & also on the was back did fishing ( I caught a big emptier fish. What a fantastic island……amazing. The only negative I would say is we did get bitten by the mosquitos……remember your spray & bite cream.
