This hotel was a change for me, much bigger and more focused on the hotel than I have done before. I booked myself a suite with a pool after a pretty rubbish few months and for me as a water lover it was worth it. Positives: Cleanliness. Shower- so powerful. Activities throughout the day bit not too intrusive and no pressure. They were a great way to speak to people. I enjoyed the water polo match! Drinks and food were reasonable prices if not all inclusive. The staff were pleasant and with having staff around it made it feel 4 stars and safe. Quiet-the hotel inside in the evening was respectful and quiet. No noisy corridors etc. The complimentary sparkling rose was a lovelyvtouch and actually very nice. Negatives. The veggie food was weird and one day there was nothing I'd eat. Ended up with pasta and tomato sauce Some weird choices-houmous at breakfast but not at evening meal, broccoli for breakfast-yes in the vegan section but for breakfast? Sake with tempura veg. That would've been lovely in the evening with some noodles. There seemed to be enough loungers but not quite enough parasols. As a redhead I need a parasol and the way they were spaced out meant the sun lovers next to me had to move! Also I'm not sure what UV protection they offered as I burnt through factor 50! It was a busy hotel and at times felt it. But I'm used to smaller hotels. Suite rooms with pools could use balcony chairs as well as loungers for when wet from the pool. A bit more privacy on the suite terrace might be nice. I know its done for the sea view. Maybe just having a slightly higher or planted section would mean that you weren't looking into everyone else's space when sat down. However, everyone was lovely, and kept themselves to themselves. Would I return. Yes probably. With a suite and pool room. As for me that made it.

We had stayed at this hotel previously a few years ago when it was a family hotel and were more than happy to go back especially as it was adult only. This is our honest opinion good and/or bad. I had contacted the hotel before we arrived to ask for an accessible room as my husband was recovering from a broken ankle. On arrival we were given room 235 which is literally walk out of the lift, turn left and its there! The room may not suit everyone as it overlooked the woods at the back of the hotel but it was fine for us and the location was brilliant. The food in the buffet restaurant seemed good at first blush, breakfast was fine and a lot of choice and seemed well cooked, we noticed after a few days that lunch in the buffet restaurant was quite sparse, plenty of salads but not much choice and I think a lot of people chose to eat at the pool side snack bar. We tried the snack bar a couple of times, the food was lovely but way too much when you are having 3 meals a day, it would be great if they had a few different sandwiches on the menu (only 1 ham & cheese toastie), a sandwich would have been ample rather than a huge burger or fish & chips and the snack bar is only open at lunchtime, there is nowhere to get a snack in between meals (or if you weren't keen on the choices at the buffet restaurant). The evening buffet meals were much better, the only negative we found was they would have a lovely roast on but nothing to go with it (although they had sprouts and cauliflower a couple of times for breakfast 🤢 yet nothing in the evening). We ate in the roof top restaurant one evening which was ok, wouldn't rave about it but it was a change, a very limited menu and if we went again we wouldn't rush back. The pool and terrace area is lovely and is washed down every evening and the staff are on hand to bring you drinks day and evening. I wish they would heat the pools just a little prior to the hot summer months as it was freezing getting in although we did brave it a few times it was really cold and doesn't make swimming in it a pleasure. Getting a sunbed is no issue, there is none of the 6am towel competition and there were plenty of spare sun beds and loungers. The room was lovely and the shower was AMAZING! Sheets changed frequently and the whole room was clean. The hairdryer isn't a bad quality one (i.e. its not attached to the bathroom wall!) its in a pouch in the bathroom. I must add at this point that during my stay I lost my eternity ring, we searched the room but couldn't find it, I reported it to reception but nothing had been handed in and on check out I asked again if it had been handed in but nothing at all then literally 10 minutes after check out the receptionist came to find me as the cleaner had handed it in, thank you so much as it was a precious ring with sentimental value rather than monetary value. The entertainment was ok, an Abba tribute, a Motown tribute and I believe a silent disco (which we didn't bother with), the young lady on the animation team struggled a bit trying to do quizzes, but for the first few days she was pretty much on her own. The drinks were good, I drink white wine and its probably the best I've ever had at an all inclusive and the cocktails were lovely too, the mixed berry mojito was excellent. Overall, the hotel is lovely and we had a really good holiday, would we go back? Possibly if it was a great deal, but we will definitely be trying other Tui Blue hotels.
