Minos Ambassador Suite Hotel & Spa

Four of us stayed at the Minos Ambassador for a week in June and we didn't want to leave! The staff in this hotel are an absolute asset to management! Even the owner Minos is often in the restaurant serving food, which for me is brilliant 👏 The hotel is immaculate throughout and the cleaners work so hard and take true pride in their work! Receptionists, chefs, restaurant staff and bar staff are brilliant. I left feeling like many were family! The only tiny negative for me would be the food within the restaurant could be hotter with a little more variety. In a 5 star hotel this is something you expect. Being english I love hot food. Warming the plates would definitely help in keeping the food hotter and looking at other reviews this is something which other people have also mentioned. Hopefully if we return next year it will be something the hotel will take on board. A big shout out to Kostas, Argyro, Antonio, you are all amazing and Maria and Irini you will always hold a special place in my heart. Lovely stay at the Minos Ambassador, we stayed B&B - service & food were very good, room always very clean & needed the air con as it was so hot!!! We enjoyed the evening music on the roof top bar with the sunset views & glass of wine. I would recommend staying.

We stayed at Minos Ambassador for six days, though unfortunately missed one night due to a late-night flight arrival. We had been looking forward to this trip, especially since we spent quite a bit and had booked half board. However, the hotel did not live up to its 5-star rating , at best, we would rate it 3+ or maybe 4 stars. The biggest disappointment was the food. The dinner buffet was far from what you’d expect at this level, and lunch was equally poor, raw burgers and a Caesar salad drenched in mayonnaise. Breakfast was decent, but nothing special. On the positive side, the rooms were cozy, fresh, and nicely decorated. We spoke with another couple who told us they received a complimentary 15-minute welcome massage and were informed they could choose between breakfast & lunch or breakfast & dinner. We were never given this information and ended up dining out every night because the hotel dinners were simply not good. We brought up our concerns with the hotel, and to their credit, they reduced our room bill due to the miscommunication, which we appreciated. We originally chose this hotel based on its 5-star label and glowing reviews, but honestly, we suspect many of those reviews are not genuine. The experience did not meet our expectations at all. In summary: save your money and look elsewhere. The only positives were that the hotel is quiet, adults-only, and close to the beach.

We’re two friends from Sweden who spent a week at this incredible hotel, and honestly, we can’t say enough good things. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such warmth and genuine care. Everything about our stay was perfect, the rooms, the food, the atmosphere, and most of all, the amazing people who work here. The staff truly went the extra mile to make us feel at home. A very special thank you to Kostas in the restaurant, the sweetest, kindest man who made every meal feel special. We miss him already! And Argyro who always welcomed us with her kind energy and smile! We also want to thank Argyro and Eva who always welcomed us with such beautiful energy at the front desk, incredibly professional but also so warm and service-minded. You both made a real difference in our stay. ❤️ We also booked a massage during our stay, and it was one of the best we’ve ever had, Stella in the spa is truly one of a kind. Had an a amazing massage from Katerina, my back felt really good afterwards. The staff there were very nice and helpful. The spa was calm and relaxing. /Andreas Svensson
