The hotel is lovely and Dimitri is excellent! He made us feel welcome and is very polite. Great experience and would definitely recommend staying here. Views are beautiful. Food is delicious and the beers and wines always flowing. Will look at coming back

Hotel is lovely and clean, staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are cleaned daily with towels replaced every day. Beach towels provided for your duration which was great. We used the pool outside of our building, it was quieter than the main pool where the pool water slides are. Water was freezing but I’m sure as the weather gets hotter water will be warmer. The hotel is right on the beach which is sandy and pebbly. A good selection of fresh food, hot and cold. Pizza / pasta bar good. River bar had a selection of sandwiches/bagels

Family of 4 for 7days. Hotel Room Our room was very dated and small, the shower we could hardly fit into and it was clear that the room needed a full refurb. This didn’t bother us too much as we only used it to sleep and wash in. Cleaners would come in if we left tag in the door handle. Grounds Hotel grounds are beautiful. Everything is vast and picturesque. The views on the beach are unreal and everything is maintained well. Drainage smell throughout the grounds though that would hit you throughout the day. Pools lovely - could do with being heated at this time of year though as they are freezing. Pool guy seemed to always be watching for the pool to be empty so he could close it early though, unsure why. Kids club - we didn’t use but sat by the kids pool one day and seen several kids using it. Not sure I’d be happy to leave my child there though as the lady running it spent more time looking at her phone unfortunately and wasn’t fully engaged in looking after the children and this safety aspect really concerned me. Shops on site - had essentials food/gifts etc. Bars/food There are serval bars scattered throughout the resort. However the queues were always long. We found the little bar by one of the pools the quietest (think it was called Chloe’s bar) Prepare to queue for about half an hour just for a drink. We chose to get drinks from the mini market on several occasions as didn’t want to stand queuing for half hour for a coke. Pizza bar - lovely, freshly made. Again be prepared to queue and then sometimes be told you could only have a couple of slices per person even through we were a family of 4 so the queueing would start again to get another slice for the next family member. This is something that should be looked at as we chose to just not have any in the end as a half hour queue for half a slice of pizza each wasn’t worth it. Pasta/salad bar - lovely and speedy service. Crepe bar - we waited for 1hr 10 mins for a crepe. I would have given up after 10 mins but my daughter Insisted. We didn’t go there again until a couple of days later and we did notice that the line had improved and they seemed to be being more efficient but the wait was since around 30 mins. Maybe a better system needs to be in place or the amount of equipment/staff needs to be increased to keep up with the demand. Staff were always lovely though and working hard and thanked us for the wait. Main restaurant We always seated straight away, plenty of staff to help and clear plates and tables efficiently. Food was ok. We always found something to eat however I’m vegetarian and there was no V signs on anything so unless obvious it was a guessing game. Staff didn’t seem to know and often assured me it was vegetarian then I’d find prawns in my food, so this put me off trying and I stuck the obvious options. Customers would really benefit from clear notice about what is vegetarian/vegan. Breakfast was always lovely with plenty of choice. Ice cream station was a hit with the kids. Local Area Lots of the bars and restaurants were still closed or just preparing to open as out of season. The ones we did use were good, the usual gift shops etc. Bus at top of the road, we used this to go to Mouse Island - Defo worth a visit to go plane spotting and watch the planes land right above you. Restaurant at the top of the hill to enjoy food/drinks with the view of the water and planes incoming. However, coming home every bus just drove past us so we have to get a taxi - €40 for a 15min journey. It’s a little run down the area by the hotel but unsure if it’s just because business’ aren’t open yet, some bars where lovely then next door there would be a building left in ruins. Overall, we had a lovely stay and for what we paid we wouldn’t expect any more. The hotel is clearly under new management and is working hard to make several improvements throughout the hotel. It’s clear that they are taking feedback and constructively trying to improve all areas. The Beach and grounds of the hotel are lovely and you will never tire of the views.
