We recently stayed at this small, friendly resort and found the experience to be a mix of positives and drawbacks. The spacious rooms provided a comfortable stay, and the resort offered excellent facilities for families traveling with children. However, the location may not be ideal for those with mobility issues. While the all-inclusive package was convenient, the food left much to be desired—it was often bland, repetitive, and served cold. The bar service, though friendly, could be slow at times. On the upside, the entertainment team did a fantastic job, adding energy and fun to our stay. Overall, this resort has its strengths, especially for families, but improvements in food quality and service efficiency would enhance the experience.

Great location and amenities. We had a couple of issues which were resolved in a timely manner once the senior management got involved. The hotel has a lot to offer and it is perfectly located. Numerous buses run to and from for coral Bay beaches and paphos. The customer service is overall good and some employees really stood out. Massive thank you to Daniel, Ramesh, Tatiana, Petronella (housekeeping), Jessica (entertainment), Satish, Johny, Tony & Zoe. They really took the time to engage and make us feel welcome. Very positive and upbeat personalities who showed some amazing customer service throughout our stay. Highly recommend and we would definitely be back🙏

Honest review from someone who is normally a hotel snob. The location at the bottom of a hill won’t be to everyone taste or ability, however, don’t let this put you off. I travelled with my partner and our 6 year old (who hates walking) and we walked up and down everyday atleast once to the main strip and beyond, so it’s more than doable. The hotel site on the waters edge and I walked the coastline every morning alone for around half and hour each way and always felt safe. The view of the ocean is unbeatable 😊 We had room 1911, pure ocean views. We didn’t upgrade we just got lucky on the day, but if you can ask for a specific room you won’t be sorry. Only slight downside, it’s just behind the park so come an evening if you want peace and quiet it might get noisy with the children playing. The room was big, very clean and comes with pool towels, dressing gown, slippers and toiletries. I loved having a full size fridge so we could stock up on bottles of water etc as they do not restock the fridge with bottles of water. The shower power was perfect and always hot. The first few days the food was brilliant, for a small hotel the variety and choice was good. Always something to eat even for our fussy eating daughter. Helps yourself softdrinks, teas, coffee, juice etc made life so much easier. It’s a little cramped in the restaurant of an evening but we would eat around 8pm when it wasn’t as busy and staff would always clear tables quickly for you to sit. The staff work really hard and were so friendly. Big shout out to Ramesh at the pool bar, what a lovely man and a credit to the hotel. By the 3rd day he knew what I wanted before I got to the bar and always asked how my day was. The snack bar at the pool initially was good, chef was funny and food (burgers, chips, nuggets etc) was just what you wanted midday, however the last 3 days of our trip the chef became rude, wouldn’t complete orders said there were no burgers, no chips, no rolls. What snack bar doesn’t have chips. It just felt like he couldn’t keep up with demand and couldn’t be arsed. The entertainment at night was ok for a 4* hotel and I wasn’t expected star studded cast performances. The entertainment girls are always walking around offering to help and encouraging participation in day and night activities. Huge credit to Erin who runs the kids club. It’s the most depressing room I’ve ever seen with very limited resources, but I have to hand it to her she really works hard to keep the kids entertained and our daughter loved the morning session and was gutted on Wednesday when Erin had a day off. The main pool does have subbed reserved most mornings by 9am, but in all fairness there was always sunbeds in the top pool and the waterpark doesn’t open until 10 and by then we were up and about and got beds everyday without a problem. Seen a few kids with little cuts on feet etc and the lifeguards were straight there with plasters and a smile. The slides and aqua park are a great asset to the hotel. Guest relations lady and reception staff are really helpful and we booked the zoo through them which was made really easy. We used Mikes taxi from the hotel to go into Paphos town which was around (£20) . The bus is so easy to use from the strip and the 615 goes all the way from coral bay to tomb of the kings bus station in Paphos which is only a few minutes walk to the mall, tombs and other sights. But again reception staff were happy to help us navigate the bus stops and where we needed to go. For the price I paid I thought the hotel was really good value for money. The staff (most of them) were very friendly, helpful and it didn’t feel like a tip culture that you get in some countries. All in all I was really pleasant surprised by the standard and it can only get better with feedback, so thank you to all at the Kapetanios we would recommend the hotel and would stay again ourselves.

We've been to this hotel many times over the years and it seems that it's pretty much as it always was. Not great but good. Can't complain about any of the staff. Credit goes to the life guards in particular callus, guy with the beard on the water park and his mate with the tash who despite the irresponsible parents on 06/06/25 leaving their small child alone whilst they swanned around the lazy river and their daughter almost drowning then had the audacity to complain about the life guard. Anyway rant on, their seems to be an I flux of extremely rude none caring families from what appears to be Iran that leave their kids to run around feral doing what they want, including stealing people's belongings and throwing tools in the pool. These parents just sit and watch this like it's OK, normal until once again this morning one of their small kids got burnt by hot water! They don't learn, or care as they laughed at him!! Moving on....again. my overall review is good location, food lovely after breakfast. Shame about time slots for ice creams. Staff lovely and manager seemed a friendly guy who I can see rules his staff but he's a business man and wants the hotel to be successful so I get that.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The food was delicious and always lots of choice. I don't know how anyone can say it wasn't good there was so much choice and always lovely fresh items, freshly grilled meats, every salad you can imagine. The entertainment was good - Erin and Jessica from the entertainment were lovely and really good with our little one. The waterpark was fun and pool areas always clean and tidy. There was the usual - no sunbeds as most of them were reserved with towels by people who were up early to reserve them! Some days we couldn't find an empty sunbed which was frustrating. The pool bar often had a very big queue in the afternoon despite the lovely barmen working really hard and quickly. The snack bar service - food was tasty but the service wasn't great. Often you would order something and he would just reply with 'no'. Very strange. I tried on six different occasions to book a massage at the spa. Hotel reception were not very helpful and often rude. They just send you downstairs (there wasn't ever anyone there) or just say they didn't know anything about the spa. Not what you would expect as a response. I don't think anyone really runs the spa side of things. The beach is a stony beach but you're able to get in the sea for a swim. Coral Bay is a lovely 5-10 minutes walk away.
