Century Park Hotel

This is a nice large clean hotel with friendly staff. We stayed here for just 2 nights on a B&B basis and the breakfast could not be faulted with enough different varieties to suit every taste and nationality. We had a lovely big room with a large walk-in shower, bath, TV and a free safe. The AC was excellent and was always needed due to the heat. On the 5th floor you'll find the small pool with lots of sunbeds if ever you need to cool down after being out all day. It's not really a place you would sit and sunbathe. The location is a bit out of the way for most attractions so you will need to use transport to get around, although the Victory Monument is only a 10 minute walk away. The furniture in the room was a bit dated with everything in mahogany but that was no big deal. Even though we were on the 8th floor we could still hear the traffic throughout the night which seems to suggest the windows are not of good quality or maybe not double glazed. Overall we had a nice stay but it's not somewhere I would go back to if visiting Bangkok again.

Excellent hotel. Lovely hotel for our 3 night stay to start off our Thailand holiday. 10 minute walk to Victory Monument BTS station for easy access to main sights. Family of 5, 2 adults and 3 'kids' aged 20, 17 & 14. We had two rooms, loads of space, cleaned every day, air con, fridge, tea & coffee. New bottled water every day. Excellent breakfast choice, full cooked including freshly cooked omelettes, scrambled egg & pancakes, fried rice, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit. Hotel bar good for a drink and bar snack plus pool table. Roof top pool and gym both good. Staff friendly and helpful.

Very pleasant hotel - although slightly out of centre - easily accessible via skytrain, or by taxi, which was our preference. We used the Grab app to book all our taxis - easy, reliable and cheap. The hotel suited our needs - plenty to eat at breakfast, happy hour in the bars - offered good value. Outdoor pool was nice to sit besides.
