We had a great week, despite the so-so weather. I've never been to an all-inclusive hotel of this scale but everything surpassed my expectations. The rooms were comfy, everything was very clean and food was all freshly prepared and tasty. The main buffet had lots of good food options for all the family but with hundreds of people being served at breakfast and lunch it did, at times, feel overwhelming. I would definitely recommend booking dinners at the delicious Mediterranean and Asian restaurants as soon as you arrive as availability is limited in these. I would have liked the option of buying better wines with dinner. The pools were fab and the best thing by far for us was the offering for kids - my son wanted to go to the Kids Club every day because there was such a varied activity schedule, and the splash park, playground and pools were all much loved. The entertainments team and staff on the whole were just brilliant. The reception team at times felt a little overwhelmed and off the ball and this was evident in a couple of mistakes made, but we were welcomed well and everyone was helpful. All of the reviews on here are pretty accurate, other than the multiple complaints of poor pillows - the hotel has taken on that feedback and we had ample plump pillows on our beds!

Coming into our stay I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. Leaving, whilst there were some great positives, we absolutely won’t be returning. The rooms are dated but perfectly comfortable. They clearly haven’t been properly refurbished for a very long time but everything works well, beds are comfortable and lots of pillows. There were absolutely no premium touches (no robes or slippers, no tea or coffee making facilities, nothing in the fridge etc.) The air conditioning was totally non functional - which seems to be the case for every room. The food was genuinely really good quality, with the Asian / sushi place a particular plus. It’s just a real shame that everything was buffet style often with a fairly long queue (or no availability). The main dining experience was hectic and stressful with the noise and crowds. I was particularly disappointed with the quality of the drinks - the wine was basically undrinkable. For a country that produces wine and where excellent value, very good wine is almost universally available - there is no excuse for the terrible quality of wine served here. The ground were kept in excellent condition with the play park and the water park fabulous for kids. A special mention also goes to the staff for putting on a great range of fun activities for the family. The main bar is dated, drab and depressing - resembling an airport waiting lounge more than a hotel bar. The hotel does offer room service, although there seems to be only menu in reception which is only in Portuguese and no mention of anything in the room. Room service was excellent quality, great value and highly recommended.

Just about to leave the hotel after another fabulous week. This is our 2nd visit. The staff in all department's are so helpful and friendly. From the moment you check in , your made feel welcome and they always have a smile on there faces. This is 1 of the cleanest hotels we have had the pleasure of stayin in and the all inclusive option is up there with the best. The food and drink is great and the options on offer is way above a lot of other hotels . The hard workin entertainment team are great. The entertainment teams staff show is not to be missed on 1 of the evenings. The effort put into it was outstanding. Would have no problem recommending this hotel to everyone. Tip. The pool areas are lovely. Defo worth emailing the Hotel to ask for pool view room. Definitely worth the small fee for a week. The pic is from room 1005 an upgraded family room.

We’ve stayed in a number of all-inclusive resorts like this and wanted to really enjoy 3HB Guaraná. It has a lot going for it — clean, modern rooms, pleasant grounds, and decent breakfast — but there are quite a few quirks and inconsistencies that hold it back from being great. Here’s a breakdown of areas we think could be improved: 1. Food & Dining Experience • Food is repetitive, especially over a multi-night stay. There’s little variation between lunch and dinner, or from day to day. • While multiple restaurants are advertised, only the main buffet is reliably open. The snack bar offers limited and very similar food. -no food is what I would consider to be ‘hot’ which is not good enough despite claims food is checked I saw no one check anything for temperatures the whole stay at any mealtime • The main restaurant at dinner is overcrowded — noisy, chaotic, and more like a mess hall than a relaxing space. • Despite guests wearing wristbands, there’s a room number check-in system at meal times which caused long queues. Staff claimed this was unusual, but it happened at every service, which didn’t feel honest. 2. Bar & Lounge Areas • The only “proper” bar is the main one, which has a dated, Butlins-like feel and gets uncomfortably busy. • The reception area could make a great, more relaxed lounge space — but there’s no bar service there, which feels like a missed opportunity. • Other bars are rarely open and seem “subject to occupancy,” even though the hotel is clearly full. This gave the impression of the hotel running on reduced service. 3. Pool & Facilities Access • The indoor pool closes in the middle of the day and reopens later, which is odd. In cooler months like April, this limits when guests can swim. A more standard 10am–6pm schedule would make far more sense. • In general, several facilities felt artificially restricted, which isn’t acceptable when the hotel is operating and isn’t fully clear about its restrictions. 4. Atmosphere & Entertainment • There’s not much to do in the evenings aside from drink. Entertainment was very limited, and large parts of the hotel feel underutilised. • The overall vibe is that the hotel is geared toward offering a lot less than it promises — and it shows when compared to other resorts of this type. Positives • Rooms and public areas are very clean • Breakfast is solid, with more variety than other meals • The outdoor space is well-maintained and appealing • Staff are generally polite, even if the setup causes stress for them and guests alike We’ve seen similar hotels deliver a far better experience with more transparency and organisation. Looking at other reviews, it’s disappointing to see valid criticisms downplayed by management, when the issues are clearly recurring. There is a good hotel underneath it all — but right now, it feels like 3HB Guaraná is cutting corners in the wrong places.

The hotel is exceptionally clean and very large. Hotel staff friendly and helpful . Room was very spacious and beds really comfortable , the pillows were the best I have slept on (where are they from ). The food although not a bad range is lukewarm at best it needs to.be piping hot , the Al A Carte restaurants were the same and this for me lets it down . There could be an area in the restaurant dedicated to adults only for those wanting a nice peaceful meal . The waiters could also give diners a minute before snatching up the plates . The entertainment team are very good and work super hard througout the day and night. The indoor pool needs to be heated properly it was beyind freezing. A good stay for families with young children. Beach 10 minutes down the hill .
