Rialto

Great hotel in excellent location. Clean, comfortable rooms (although view from the window left a lot to be desired. Was quiet though, at the back.) Staff were pleasant and helpful. For me, a particular bonus was a gluten free corner with it's own toaster! Breakfast is in the basement with plenty of choice. I couldn't eat the almond cake, but my friends assured me (daily) is was amazing! Overall, for a budget hotel I would recommend The Rialto and would stay here again.

This hotel is located in the Gothic Quarter. There is a metro station a few mins walking distance from the hotel. Plenty of shops, bars,bakeries and restaurants nearby. I also did the free walking tour (Sandmanns) and the meeting point was near the hotel. Las Ramblas is literally down the street. La Boqueria is a 10 min walk from the hotel the Cathedral of Seville 3 mins. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. Try and get a room away from the main road if not you will hear the street noise.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel and our twin room - very nice and clean, recently renovated. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The staff was always nice and helpful. The only negative is that the windows are not sound proof and in this central area it is a must - there are people outside non stop, screaming and singing during the night, construction work or cleaning during the day.
