It really is a great hotel - the location is unique, the pools on the 5th and 9th floors are brilliant, as is the restaurant, because you always have a fantastic view. The room itself is also superbly furnished. We only gave it 3 stars because we had already indicated in the reservation that we needed a quiet room. We were given a room directly in front of the elevator, which was incredibly noisy. In addition, on the 1st night the water pipes of the plunge pools started to work in the middle of the night. The technician was called, the problem was fixed, but it was almost impossible to sleep. A move was supposedly only possible on the 3rd day, which was very annoying. Conclusion: the hotel is great, but the lack of attention to the customer according to the motto "bad luck" leaves a bad aftertaste, so that we actually did not spend much time in this hotel. In addition, the cleanliness is top and the concierge service is also top!

Fabulous hotel, perfectly situated on the waterfront and a short stroll into the centre of Agios Nikolaos. We stayed in the Escape Suite which was amazing - whilst we were really lucky with the weather, the pool was too cold to swim in, I'm guessing because it's only April and not had time to warm up, but still lovely to have that privacy. The Clarins products were a bonus too. The breakfasts on the terrace were gorgeous, so no complaints there at all. The gym was small but well equipped for a holiday workout!! We also had a hire car and found it easy to park outside the hotel. Whilst all the staff were lovely, special mention needs to go to Christina and Eleana in the Spa - they gave a superb full body massage and facial respectively and I'd thoroughly recommend any guest visiting takes advantage of the treatments they offer - gorgeous products in tranquil surroundings. Fabulous holiday in Crete. The hotel is lovely - right on the promenade. Yes, you do have to get up early if you want a sun lounger around the pool, however there are sun loungers on the pontoon and pebble beach right in front of the hotel and there is still bar service there. I would suggest taking surf socks if you are planning on swimming off that beach! We were bed and breakfast and the breakfast was amazing - omelette/egg station and everything you could possibly want on the buffet tables. The staff are friendly yet professional. Rooms are very modern - the hand basin is in the bedroom and the shower is too so, if you are shy, you may need to rethink this - the loo is in its own little room so totally private. Great location, a short walk from the main town with lots of bars, tavernas and restaurants.

On arrival - there was a mess up on our booking. We were greeted by a lovely lady on reception (unsure on her name). The next day- if was resolved & we got upgraded to a room with a plunge pool. We were very pleased & it made up for the mess up on our first night. Originally we had booked a room with a balcony. Having now experienced the plunge pool, next time we would pay the extra. It was lovely to wake up to the sunrise every morning. We also went in & watched the world go in the evening. In October it’s normally 23/24 degrees. We had 27/28 degrees all week. The plunge pool was heated also- just lovely. Highly recommend it. It’s lovely & peaceful! Bed was so comfy. Great pillows etc. shower however was open - so not great for shy couples! (Didn’t bother us). The toilet was also separate to the shower in the room- bit odd, but again didn’t bother us. Females: hairdryer is babyliss - great hairdryer. Some hotels the hairdryers are rubbish, so when you have thick one, it’s annoying. However this was great! Upon check out- we were able to leave our bags for the day- check out is 11am. We were also able to book a room to freshen up & shower in the afternoon before we got picked up for transfer & flying home. This was really handy! Walking distance to shops/ restaurants. It was great!! Private beach was fab. There’s quad /push bike hire down the road. That was fun & we went on trip advisor & it came up with some places to visit etc whilst we were there. Only a few negative things - the lighting system in the room is confusing- it took us 3 days to get used to it. It wasn’t very lively - but we have come towards the end of season. The reason we stayed here was because we wanted peace & to fully relax. So it was perfect for us. The staff were very helpful & friendly. We would stay again ☺️ thank you.

Excellent service with attentive staff in all departments. Breakfast buffet, very good with a variety of options.Travelling slightly off season so we had no problems finding sun beds. Clean and spacious room - however, the open-shower solution leaves no privacy. We asked to change to another room with no direct view into shower. The hotel honoured our request and we got a much better solution. The only negative aspect was a noisy ventilation below our balcony.
