Sunscape Coco Punta Cana

We had a wonderful stay at Sunscape Coco Punta Cana Resort! The resort was beautiful, family-friendly, and the staff truly made our experience special. I want to give a huge thank you to Jinnette at Coco Café – she went above and beyond for every special drink request I had, not just for me but also for my child. Her kindness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Great service, great vibes, and amazing hospitality all around. We’ll definitely be back!

Our group was generally pleased with our stay at Sunscape. However, the process to book a restaurant using their app was frustrating to say the least. Although we were unable to make reservations using the app for the first 3 nights of our stay & referred to concierge, they kept telling us to book through the app which was annoying. Thankfully, we got to experience Blue Water Grill on our last night. With the difficulty to make dinner reservations together with the inconvenience of only 1 or 2 specialty restaurants being open on any given night, I will notq visit again and would most likely not recommend to family and friends.

This property shouldn’t be considered “All-Inclusive” when you have to pay to eat at 5 or 6 of their restaurants. They didn’t explain at check in that in order to eat at the inclusive restaurants you have to make a reservation between 9am-3pm, otherwise you will have to eat at the buffet every day which is not good. Their drinks are great though. We had issues with our toilet, water not being hot, a/c, and the phones. A lot of walking on this property, got plenty of exercise everyday lol. Overall, I rate them 4 out of 10 based on MY EXPERIENCE and we were a family of 9 with 4 rooms. I think everything should be explained at check-in especially being your first time somewhere you never been before and this is my family first time out of the country!!! So I was really not expecting this at all, considering this was 4 star resort.

The Medallion staff at Sunscape Punta Cana was muy excellente! From the moment you walk in, David at concierge will take you bags , and greet you with a welcoming hello to the sunfilled resort. The front desk staff will ensure you are resting comfortably and are attended to in ever way. Everyone was mindful and helpful in making my stay comfortable and memorable! Everyone was engaging, warm and, fun! Always a joy to be around. I'd vist again and again!!! Thank you for making me feel like family, Natalie, Christopher, Chocolate, Coffee, DJ Dimonond, and Mauro Excursions. Miss you! Xo

Great stay although the hotel was no help whatsoever with the online site shop, who I may say is extortionate in price. We paid $25.00 for a pair of sun glasses (that I may add was the flimsiest sunglasses I’ve ever come across, but there is no other shop Around for miles) bear in mind we bought other things from the store. The au. Glasses broke after two day and they refused to give us another pair. The store manage who was so ignorant acted like she couldn’t understand English when she sold us the stuff with a smile and goodbye in English, she advised they do not do refunds or exchanges, I advised her this was neither as the glasses Were faulty. Again she acted like she could understand a lick of English, but then was not quick to go and tell the hotel about us. We went to the hotel reception desk who advised us we should at least get another pair, they advised us to talk to the concierge, but when we turned around to speak to her there low and behold was the shop manager talking to her. Of cause she had filled her in and clued her up (Nicolas) her name is. As soon as we got to the concierge, she began with the line sorry the store is its own shop of cause she had got to her and could tell they were friends. We asked the concierge for the lady’s name but she advised she doesn’t know even though they were both just chatting away like soul ties. Basis of this review is DO NOT buy from this store, the worst experience I have come across in my years of travelling. Also do not ask the concierge for help as they only help their own. And for that experience alone and the fact they said they was going to fumigate the room 50 times but haven’t and we leave tomorrow is ridiculous, we and my partner have been but to pieces and I’m 5 month pregnant. All in all the worst experience look elsewhere. The maids are the loveliest woman on this planet, please tip if you do stay. She’s in the picture by the way Thanks for reading guys!
