Atlantica Sungarden Park

Large rooms, good shower and kept very clean by a cheerful lady. The food was good, plentiful and varied. Drinks were fine although not premium brands however cocktails varied depending on who made them. When we were there the age of the clientele went from babies to older adults (like us) and covered many nationalities. The pool area is lovely but the lack of toilets in that area must be a nightmare in high season. Found it really strange that there no toilets on the same level as the pool or the restaurant. The evening entertainment was virtually nonexistent so not the place to go for a boogie, much too quiet for us. Overall a lovely hotel in a good location with helpful staff but for us lacking in atmosphere.

Spontan gebucht und hingeflogen. Das Hotel ist sehr schön und modern. Die Kleine ist immernoch völlig begeistert. Wir hatten auch noch ein besseres Zimmer als ursprünglich bekommen. Das Wetter war ok, nur der Strand ist leider etwas felsig. Bis zum sandigen Nissi Beach ist es aber nicht weit. Empfehlenswert.

I have a mixed opinion of this hotel. Positives would be the rooms - very clean, huge bed and the housekeeping was brilliant, beds always changed bar one day. We also got a room with a full sea view despite not paying extra for a sea view. Pool area lovely and clean although I can imagine in peak season it would be very difficult to get a sunbed around the pool but there are plenty of sunbeds in the garden facing the sea. The location is great too there's a big supermarket about a minute walk down the road - the shopkeeper plays great music in there too haha. Very short walk to the bars and restaurants and cheap taxis to the strip - we used the app Bolt and it was brilliant. The area surrounding the hotel is lovely. On the other hand, me and my friend booked this hotel as we could get to the strip fairly easily as we like to go out clubbing in the evenings - at the time we went the clientele at the hotel seemed to be older people, obviously this would normally not be a problem at all but every evening we were dressed to go out and have a few drinks in the lobby bar the stares we got were atrocious! We were't being offensive or wearing anything overly revealing. People giving us dirty looks and a lady mouthed "ridiculous" with a disgusted look on her face. We felt so uncomfortable that we decided to go out for drinks in the evening despite paying all inclusive. Obviously this has no reflection on the staff but just note this if you are younger and don't want to be subject to judgement! Also I just wanted to add that the snack bar was awful. The man who was manning the snack bar seemed to hate his job and grunted at you when you asked for anything, other all-inclusive's I have been to normally allow you to self serve your snacks but everything including sandwiches you had to ask for and we were made to feel a burden. My friend heard one guy ask for another burger and the man behind the snack bar said "Another? you've already had one!" Food at the snack bar was pretty poor too. There's barely any entertainment so if you want any you'd need to go out of the hotel. The reps were sat at the bar all day looking bored. The food is okay, not really an Atlantica standard and by the end of the week we ate out as the food got a bit repetitive and bland. We couldn't book a spa treatment together even though they advertise couples massages everywhere. In conclusion this hotel is good if you can get a cheap deal otherwise its a massive waste of money, this hotel is definitely not of a 4* standard more of a 3*.
