Riu Latino

We have absolutely nothing to complain about this resort. The entertainment team was amazing, always having fun activities and game, also very interactive and friendly. All the bartenders and wait staff were amazing and friendly. Extremely clean resort,large and cozy rooms ,great food with tons of variety.

From the greeting to the goodbye was excellent. Rooms clean and spacious, fridge restocked everyday. Lobby, corridors, around pools, restaurants, buffets all very clean…every where you turn employees are working hard to make guest experience the best experience. Bars well stocked and always friendly! Sports Bar open 24 hours great place for a quick bite, fantastic capuchino and great smoothies ( I don’t drink but non-alcoholic drinks available everywhere). Great service around pools and at the beach. Never had to reserve a chair early in morning, plenty of chairs available at anytime of day. Water slides great fun, an added bonus to your vacation. We were 3 sisters between 58 and 63; all enjoyed our time. Restaurants and buffet food fantastic. Our favourite was the Steak House mixed grill platter…Fidel gave us great service and a few words in Spanish!

Whoever reads this review please read to the end and I promise to be as brief as possible! Please ignore negative for almost all of them are iether bad , really bad luck or full of ….. I stayed June 12-22 This is my 30+ all inclusive vacation + 10-15 non all inclusive in last 15-20 years so I should know what I am talking about? Bad stuff first: -Location is a bit far for city visit (15-20 usd uber drive) and a bit far for many excursions ( 1,5-2,5 hrs on bus each way to Tulum , xel-ha , ….) -Beach is a bit far from the pools/rooms , 300-400 m walk in deep sand -There is no beach bar though there is server that serves drinks on the beach - there are no showers on the beach -a la cart restaurants are good , bad nothing special ( Riu Negril has much better food - at double the price) That is it!!!! Yes sometimes someone pukes in the pool , this is my third time here , 7+7+10 days = 1 time pool closed for puking Yes sometimes people are loud ….so what??? I never had issues with noise , today , in fact someone was arguing near my room , again , so what , nor going on every day ( yes I am still here for another 4 days ) Good stuff: -very clean rooms -very clean public areas - very clean hotel overal -Very clean grounds , walkways , pool -very good food ( I had better , at double the price though) -very atentative stuff -very pleasant and genuinly kind stuff , from front desk to gardeners and everyone in between - I had opportunity to meet from general manager to many bellow him and all of them are nice and kind people which gives me a feeling of being wlcomed here , not anly as a customer but human being Only one more place is on top of my list , compatible with Riu Latino where I feel welocemed and part of a happy crowd… is Riu Palace Paradise Island Bahamas Theae two are my favorite locations Like I said , it is my third time here and I love it will keep coming. BTW If you dont like young crowd come september-may , very different atmosphere! Ah one more thing: This is my first ever review and I only did it for these people that work here deserve it!

Great resort if you want to relax, enjoy some sun and take a dip in the pool. This is not the party resort although they will take you on a bus to do pool and them parties. The shows were entertaining but low key compared to some other resorts. The food was good. The drinks were good. The asian restaurant and the buffet were my favorites. Pedro made the best drinks.

Amazing stay. Property was great, staff communication was great, many options on food, the ocean was clear of algae. Beach service was superior with drinks. Non alcoholic beverages as well. I can’t say enough about this property . Just book it!
