We had a wonderful experience at Anantara! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. The service was exceptional, the facilities were top-notch, and the location was perfect. A big thank you to the staff for making our visit so special. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!

What a brilliant trip. Let's break this down: 1. Location: Yes, it's 10 mins from the airport and we could hear the aircraft taking off, but the treeline actually hides the sight of them so it wasn't a problem for us. Plus, we like planes, so there's that. 2. Beach: It's a wilder beach in that it has small waves as opposed to being completely flat. Personal preference but this feels more like a beach to us. 3. The Bar Team: Wow. We were so deeply impressed that we wrote down names. Let's do this: - Robin: the bar manager. What a gem. Incredibly kind, genuine and heartfelt. He was brilliant with our 3-year old. Whilst he manages the bar he was more like a personal butler and PA, helping us with restaurant bookings and adhoc queries. - Yudesh: also part of the bar management team. Again - above and beyond. - Nitish: not only a great barman but also very calm and collected - he patched up our daughter's bleeding toe when she stubbed it. 4. The Food Team: - Vinita. Quite possibly one of the best waitering staff we've ever experienced. Here's an example. She runs the Indian restaurant, Zaffron. In our opinion, it's the hotel's best food. As part of their aesthetic they have metal water cups. My wife doesn't love the feel of a metal glass/cup. So when we went back there for dinner 5 nights later every table had metal cups except ours, which had glass. Vinita had remembered that, clocked when we were coming back and put it all together. It's these little thoughtful touch points that made it special. - Deepraj: I have a thing for a particular Indian dish called Dal Makhani from time spent in India. I mentioned this anecdote in passing. Next time we're at the restaurant, Deepraj had it ready and waiting (it takes 5-6 hours to make). It took me straight back to the first time I had it in India; that's how good it was. - Vinesh: Similar story. Our 3-year old showed an interest in picking a frangipani flower, so the next day she had freshly picked frangipanis, among other freshly picked flowers, at her seat. - Neevedita and Trisha: a mother/daughter team in the kitchen. Just super friendly, kind and considerate in delivering great food all the time. Kids Club: Our daughter really enjoyed her time there. The team, Queency and Vidya, were lovely. It's a smaller kids club that other hotels but with great toys, a decent sand based playground and kindness. 5. The Hotel It's eloquent, elegant and tasteful. The lighting is beautifully and thoughtfully done. Even things like the width of stairs has been thought out to make it easier to navigate with a pram. 6. Fitness: Anais is so bubbly and engaged. She does a strong job accommodating requests and making a plan. 7. The Spa: Holy smokes..... so good. Roshan has hands made of concrete, yet the soul of a gentle giant. Again - just so thoughtful and considerate. Really great at what he does. In summary: Just do it.

Beautiful hotel with lovely facilities. Food was excellent especially the Indian offerings which were outstanding. Lovely spa and gym. The staff are so friendly and will do anything to help! Special mentions to Dylan, Ramdin, Maria- making gluten free pancakes every day!, Sarvan, Cinthia, Kesha and Nalini for a wonderful spa experience and massage.
