Royalton Grenada Resort & Spa

We spent a week in June at the Royalton Grenada in a Diamond Club swim out suite. Our room and pool were kept immaculate and the resort was well maintained. During our stay, our butlers made us feel welcomed and pampered. Deshona gave us excellent advice regarding the amenities on the resort. She had a wonderful and infectious attitude and found us wherever we were on the resort to give us her special drink of the day. Nicolette was also fabulous and steered us in the right direction for our excursions and reservations. These women made our trip 5 stars!

We started in a swim up, DC Room 20113. The mosquitos ran us up to the DC presidential suite, room 20311. It was perfect. Our butler, Lee Vaughan was amazing, he saw to it that we got everything we needed. It’s was a relaxing time, just what we were looking for. The food is regular resort food, nothing to write home about.

Our stay at the Royalton Grenada was very enjoyable and relaxing and we would definitely return. Highlights: Location  -  the beach was beautiful, the surroundings exceptional and only 2 minutes from the airport (literally no noise from airplanes taking off/landing). Service  –  Excellent service delivered by all staff members, particularly our butlers Brad G & Isiah and a big shout-out for Abygail and Samson and all of the bar staff at the Diamond Club pool bar. Everywhere we went we were greeted with smiles and conversation. Rooms  -  The rooms were nice and clean. Housekeeping took good care of the room during our stay. Food: - We were lucky to be able to eat at Grazie, Ma Maison and the Taj – Ma Maison was  definitely our favourite – the steaks are huge but extremely tasty. We also enjoyed the food at Grazie (incl. breakfast) and the Taj.  We used the buffet a number of times and were happy with the selection of foods on offer.  

Checking in was at 3 p.m. and one of the rooms was not ready. I made an early request to have my family placed next to each other and we were not. I called directly and made early bookings for each restaurant on the Resort and they could not find my booking. The rooms were fine and the view was awesome, however they do need an elevator. Too many steps to climb. Be fit. Staff were helpful. Brandon assisted a lot.

This was my first time experiencing Grenada. So I decided to choose the Royalton since it was not far from the airport. I decided to treat myself to Diamond Club. The service was great. My room was ready when I checked in. My view was wonderful. My butlers Lindon and Jamie both made sure I was ok and checked on me when needed. I hope to have them again next time I return. Hopefully I will visit the Spice Market during my next visit. My only problem was that a couple of my reservations were scheduled for thw wrong time by another associate, but it was okay because the restaurant hostesses seated me anyway.
