You don't have to spend eight hours on a plane to take a holiday in the Tropics. The tropical paradise is only 60 km South of Berlin and 100 km North of Dresden. A place where is summer all year around. Tropical Islands makes the dream of a tropical resort in the middle of Europe come true. Enjoy a year-round temperature of 26°C. The largest freestanding hall in the world covers 66,000 square metres (the size of nine football pitches) and offers a unique tropical landscape with numerous attractions, relaxation options and overnight accommodation. The tropical village consists of original buildings that were made in Bali, Thailand, Borneo and Samoa. A water slide tower, hot air balloon, children's club and Jungle Splash – a water playground covering several hundred square metres – guarantee hours of fun and adventure.

  • Please note that due to legal regulations, special provisions regarding age or height must be observed when using individual attractions at Tropical Islands

Not allowed:

  • It's not allowed to bring outside food (except for baby food and meals for severe allergies) for hygiene reasons

Know in advance:

  • Children under the age of 14 may only enter Tropical Islands if accompanied by a parent or guardian, or with the consent of a parent or guardian and accompanied by an adult
  • The following services are included in your ticket: Tropical World, Outdoor Area AMAZONIA, Waterslide Tower, Tropino Kids Club, Jungle Splash, OHANA Town, Shuttlebus
  • MasterCard, Visa and EC card are accepted inside the park
  • Due to cleaning work, there may be closures at the South Sea and the lagoon between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am

Remember to bring:

  • Summer clothing is ideal (approx. 26°C air temperature)
  • Bring sandals or light summer shoes, you may also wish to bring clothes to change into for dinner in the evening or clothes to work out in
  • Swimwear is the thing to wear on the beach and in the water. The water temperature is 32°C in the lagoon and 28°C in Sudsee. Remember to bring towels and a cosy bathrobe for afterwards
  • Sunscreen
