Curacao Marriott Beach Resort

Best experience with LYN the girl at the restaurant and bar very friendly makes all the guest feel like family and make me always want to come back for more...best experience ever..... plan to bring all my friends and family to have the best time ever at this resort.

The resort has spacious rooms and great service. The restaurants in the hotel were a pleasant part of our stay. We were at our son's wedding which was awesome. The ocean views were magical. This is a fantastic place to visit. We had over a hundred guests attending and they were amazed. Several people are already talking about their next visit.

I went with to Marriott Curaçao with my wife, daughter, son in law, son, son’s fiancée, and grand daughter. I would have given 4 1/2 stars, but since you can’t give a 1/2 star, 5 was more appropriate than 4. I will start with the most important point, Graceny was really great. She was very nice to email with over the phone, and fulfilled our requests. She is really the reason that my rating was bumped to 5 stars. Also there was a waitress at the restaurant, unfortunately I don’t remember her name, but we were there to pick up an order of food, and asked if it could be done quickly, and had it literally in 2 minutes. I mention that, because almost all service at the Marriot was very reasonable with respect to time, as opposed to other places on curaçao typically run on “island time”. All the staff at the hotel were very courteous. The hotel and its beach were very nice. I guess for some of the less significant things… The shower was probably one of the best hotel showers I’ve been in, and my wife appreciated having a good hair dryer, as we weren’t able to bring ours from home since all the outlets at the hotel are 220v (or 240?), and the step down transformers that I saw can’t handle the watts of a reasonable hair dryer. A few minor annoyances were, wash clothes are like gold. You have to ask multiple times to housekeeping and the front desk to get them. You would think when housekeeping takes care of the room each day, they would replace the ones that they take from the room. Another annoyance was my daughter and husband ordering drinks, and being charged $4 at the bar, but $11 on the hotel beach, and even after, the drinks not being strong. The tv had issues where the backlight wouldn’t turn off when the tv was turned off, and the usb port to charge the phone on one side of the bed worked intermittently. All the negative issues were minor, which is why I still gave a very good rating.
