Visit the islands around Krabi on a day tour, with departure from your hotel in Phuket. Cruise by ferry to Ao Nang and start your journey by speedboat to reach 4 islands just off the coast of Ao Nang.You'll be picked up by a minivan in the early morning and sail to Nopparat Thara Pier in Ao Nang on board a ferry. Switch to the speedboat to start the island hopping to Koh Poda, Chicken Island and the sandbar at Tup Islets. The trip includes several open-water swimming and snorkelling stops of around 30 minutes. Travel time between the various beaches is 20 to 25 minutes, usually less.A popular stop will be Chicken Island, named after a bizarre rock formation resembling the head of a chicken. One end of the island consists of steep cliffs, while the other end has beautiful beaches along a peninsula. This peninsula gets flooded at high tide, creating a small island. At low tide, you can walk between the Tup Islets and Chicken Island.

- Not suitable for pregnant women, infants 0–2 years, or people with back or neck problems
Extra fees to be paid on-site:
- There is an entrance fee for Hat Noppharat Thara – Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park of 200 THB per adult and 100 THB per child to be paid on the spot
- If you stay in Bangtao, Kamala, Nai Yang, Naihan, Surin Beach and Rawai, there is an extra charge of 200 THB per person
- If you stay in Ao Yon, Ao Sane, Baan Krating, Cape Panwa, Layan and Naithon, there is an extra charge for a round trip transfer of 2000 THB/group (max. 10 people)
- If you stay in Mai Khao, JW Marriott & Ao Por, there is an extra charge for a round trip transfer of 2600 THB/group (max. 10 people)
Know in advance:
- There is a minimum of 5 people required to run this activity. If this number is not reached, the local operator will inform you in advance and offer a different travel date, an alternative activity, or provide a full refund
- It is possible to stay on the boat during swimming and snorkelling stops
Remember to bring:
- A towel, swimwear, a waterproof bag, sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses, flip-flops, and a camera
- Please wear a life jacket if you are not a confident swimmer
