
Guided tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau from Krakow

If you are visiting Kraków, Auschwitz is one of the most significant places to see. A visit to a world-famous symbol of the Holocaust and memorial to the victims of the Nazis is a unique chance to learn about their history. During the Auschwitz-Birkenau tour, you will both visit Auschwitz and Birkenau and acquire a sense of the symbolically important place of the Holocaust and Nazi crimes.Your Auschwitz-Birkenau tour starts in Kraków. Once all participants are picked-up, you'll head towards Oświęcim, a town located around 60 kilometers from Kraków. During this ride, you will be able to prepare yourself for a visit by watching a documentary movie. Once you arrive, you'll first visit Auschwitz I and then Auschwitz II Birkenau during a guided tour.

- Children under the age of 14 are not allowed to participate in this tour
- Bags and backpacks larger than 30x20x10 cm are not allowed on the museum grounds. You may store luggage in the vehicles free of charge
Know in advance:
- All participants must provide their full name and contact details at the time of booking. Please ensure that the name on your ID exactly matches the name provided at the booking to avoid issues at the entrance
- The museum can change your visit time, so your pickup time may change accordingly. You will receive final confirmation via email 1–2 days before the tour. Due to the extremely high visitors’ volume and internal policies, Auschwitz-Birkenau reserves the right to cancel tours or guides at any time, even a few days or hours before the visit. If this happens, you will be informed and if possible, offered an alternative date or program
- All visitors are required to pass through security checks before entering the museum grounds
- Pickup available from selected hotels/meeting points in Kraków. The pickup location will be confirmed by the local tour operator
- All admission tickets to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum are personal. At booking, the name and surname of each participant (as spelled on the ID document) is required
- All customers must bring an identity document with them on the day of the visit which matches the name on the ticket. In the absence of such a document, the staff has the right to refuse entry to the museum
- A moderate amount of walking is involved, please wear comfortable shoes
