Bardzo dobre położenie, które jest główną zaletą apartamentów Casa Metz - dojście do głównej kolejki zajmuje 7 minut. Apartament jest jednak zbyt mały dla 4 osób jak przewidują oferty - idealny dla 2 osób (ewentualnie z małymi dziećmi). Wyposażenie jest przeciętne, brakuje jednak rzeczy typu papier toaletowy czy worki na śmieci - na tydzień przeznaczone było po jednej sztuce każdego.

Excellent location.Beautiful view of mountains south side toward street with tiled balcony. Clean, warm, large room with ample closets. Comfortable bed, sleeper sofa (did not pull it out to test).Be sure to arrange early checkout with reception the afternoon before your morning departure. Front desk attended for only few hours per day and not in the morning during the week, but late afternoon. Impossible to contact anyone to check out midweek in the morning.

We spent a week at this chalet, and from the beginning when we arrived in Milan to our current 5th day, it has been just about perfect. Verena, the young lady in charge, has been helpful all through our stay, giving us a great room with the most perfect views (even if I had to request it, as I'm spending my birthday here), and helping us with little requests, incl. such things as maps, tips and the like. As for the town, the surroundings, one has to visit the Dolomites to appreciate its natural beauty. The people go walking up the mountains, and are friendly, calmly wishing you 'Bono serra' or 'Gruss Gott' as they trudge along, The weather has been nothing sort of heavenly, clean fresh air, blue skies, and magnificent views of the unusually shaped mountains and the alpine forests below. There are great restaurants to meet every budget, so one should just indulge, indulge, indulge, as the beers, wines, and Austro/Italian cuisines offers are just perfect for the easy weather.

The managers at Casa Metz are super nice people and helped us with many things, but this hotel was the low point of our stay, unfortunately. It was cold and raining in the mountains, but the heat was not on. We had both boiling hot and freezing cold water in the shower. The cable TV signal was on and off for most of our week-long stay. WiFi was not strong enough for us to stream anything on our iPad. There was a small assigned parking space that would have been difficult for anything but a Smart car. The "Whirlpool" was a cold bathtub with no water and spiders in it. We loved Val Gardena and the mountains but would recommend staying elsewhere.
