Hotel Mesnerwirt

This was my 3rd time at Der Mesnerwirt. I visited with my sister this time because I wanted to share this special place with her. I always feel welcomed here, as if I were a member of the family. The setting is beautiful, the food is amazing, and the staff is beyond welcoming. I highly recommend a stay anytime you are traveling to Südtirol. I come back everytime I visit Europe.

After a stay in 2012 we were now the second time at the Mesnerwirt for one week. Our room was one of the new suits. Again we have had a great time. As the hotel is family owned, therefore everything is really uncomplicated and all the staff, including the owner family, are absolutely friendly and helpful, whatever you would like to know (walking trails, bus line etc...). As there are not too much rooms the atmosphere is everywhere (spa, restaurant, bar) relaxed and cosy. A big plus for us was the separate spa for adults. The restaurant: Breakfast, light lunch und dinner was of high quality. We appreciate that the food was more basic always with a twist for an extraordinary taste (lemon sorbet with pine needles). The hotel itself is in a landscape totally quite. We enjoyed very much again our stay and where completely relaxed after this week. Thanks to all at the Mesnerwirt making our stay to a perfect holiday!

We had the most amazing experience at Der Mesnerwirt ! Since our arrival, the Gruber family and the hotel staff offered us a memorable experience. They provided the highest standards of quality, everything is so well organized, food is incredible and rooms are simply perfect with floor to ceiling windows, offering wonderful views of the mountains - we booked suites. They organize daily activities for guests, the SPA area is very nice. We have quite some travel experience, and I need to highlight that was our best experience so far, a big thank you to the Gruber family and staff, simply AMAZING !

We decided to go to the Mesnerwirt for our honeymoon along with our two border collies. We stayed 10 nights and it was perfect! Hotel has garage and it is nicely situated on quiet place, main hall has fireplace and it's perfect place for romantic evenings with drink. Hotel has modern garden situated to the south. Rooms are clean (we were in new family suit), designed in modern style, including wood and stone elements, with nice bathroom with great shower and separated WC. WiFi hotspot connection is free and stable and limited to 1 Mb/s per device which is fine for browsing, watching Netflix etc. What we really loved was Gruber family and hotel staff! They always smile they speak English, German and Italian and are helpful in every way. You can taste many local and national wines or perfect home made punch! Food is great they have thematic evenings with local and national specialities. There are many events organized by the Gruber family if you want to join them, you won't be bored (wine degustations, hiking trips etc.) Thank you again We will be back :)

Room ok bathroom good. Wifi is not free which was not clearly indicated. Swimming pool very small. The kids' area (adventure land per web site) is just a playroom without childcare. No shuttle bus to the ski station. Overall I feel it is not worth the money and for similar prices we get more services from other 4 star hotels.
