In Vellasaru Resort I spent 12 days at the end of December and January 2017.
Undeniably this is the most beautiful place I've so far managed to visit.
Vellasaru is quite close to Male, takes about 30 minutes journey by boat from the airport to the hotel.
At the airport, the hotel has its own pickup point for guests.
I lived in water villa, from the sunset side. The rooms are spacious, decorated in good taste, clean (housekeeping twice a day). The rooms are equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans. Bottled still water supplied by the hotel twice a day, at no extra charge. There is also a coffee maker, kettle and tea. There is a shower and bathtub in the large bathroom. Each bungalow has its own terrace with an entrance to the ocean. The rooms are equipped with tv, dvd, free wifi throughout the island, perfect transfer.
On the island there are 3 restaurants where you can dine Vela, Sand, and my favorite Teppanyaki.
The Teppanyaki and Sand a la carte, requires a reservation in advance.
Teppanyaki is located on the water. The dishes served with live kitchen. An unforgettable experience for the taste buds, delicious food, fresh fish, seafood and gourmet meat. Be sure you have to try the food at this place, and from then nothing will be tasted as before.
In Vela dinner is served buffet style.
Breakfast is also served buffet style, everyone will find something for everyone. There are dishes from continental cuisine and Asian. Different types of bread, any kind of eggs, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, fruit. All fresh, beautifully presented, fragrant, delicious.
After the dinner you can sit by pleasant live music in the Fen Bar.
There is also Chill Bar on the other side of the island, but away from the main part of the island about 10 minutes on foot, which has a smaller interest.
The whole island is not large, but not the smallest. You can go around in half an hour. The beach is wide, with white sand, the water in the ocean in all shades of blue, which I have not seen anywhere before. You can do snoorkling, enjoy all kinds of fish in a coastal reef. Apart from sun beds on the terrace, there is many of them next to swimming pool and on the beach around the island. With comfortable mattresses. The hotel provides beach towels.
And when there is no sun, you can always visit the spa, which offers a diverse range of treatments.
Considering prices, it is neither cheap nor very expensive.
Although all for what you have to pay in Vellasaru is worth the price and quality, which will be given in return.
At the end, I would like to say thank You to the service at the hotel, which is extremely polite, friendly, attentive and seeking to fulfill all your expectations and requirements. I think this is the greatest success of this place, gathering such professional service.
That's how I imagine paradise! :)
Do not hesitate, go to Vellasaru Resort!
Każdy bungalow posiada swój własny taras, z wejściem do oceanu.
Dania serwowane z live kitchen.
