Angsana Corfu

Przyjechaliśmy tutaj po bardzo intensywnym 2-tygodniowym wypoczynku w Singapurze i Malezji. W hotelu Angsana można spokojnie odpocząć. Nasza willa była bardzo wygodna, zawsze czysta, ze świetnym prywatnym basenem z pięknym widokiem na morze. Restauracje w hotelu serwują naprawdę wykwintne i smaczne dania. Korfu to bardzo ładna wyspa. Hotel leży na zboczu mocno zalesionej góry, co powoduje, iż w sierpniu było bardzo dużo os, które niestety przeszkadzały w posiłkach. Czasami trudno było skończyć kolację. Osy nie gryzły, ale było to niestety uciążliwe. Obsługa hotelu odganiała różnymi sposobami osy, choć było to trudne. Okazuje się, iż w tym regionie Korfu w sierpniu jest dużo os.

We enjoyed staying at the Angsana in Corfu. The infinity pool steals the show with stunning views and a laid back atmosphere. There was no issue getting sun beds and it was full. The pool beverage service was excellent. The bars and restaurants are all good but for more local options it’s a short walk to Benitses where we recommend Paxinos. Breakfast had a great selection and all the coffee varieties you could wish for. The small beach is easily accessible either by walking or the small bus that runs up and down in the day. Corfu town is not far and we loved the mix of old and new restaurants. We recommend a modern Italian called Nolita. On that note the concierge was great in helping with recommendations. We took a private taxi to Porto Timoni which was beautiful but amusing / worrying to see people trying to hike in flip flops. Trainers certainly recommended. We tend to prefer more classic luxury so if we head back to Corfu we may try something different but equally would be happy to return to Angsana.

I absolutely loved my stay at Angsana Corfu Resort. The fusion of Asian and Greek hospitality gave the hotel such a unique character. Breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea, delicious local cuisine at Sofrito Restaurant and a breakfast spread was something to mention. The tranquillity of the beach and the cocktails of the Vertigo Sky Bar were the icing on the cake.

Lovely place for couples and truly relaxing stay. The resort offers shuttle service from/to airport and the old town of Corfu with a reasonable charge but i suggest renting a car or a motorbike for your daily transfers for more convenience and to explore the incredible beaches. The check-in was smooth and we had a warm welcome and the staff explained us every service and available facility of the property and showed us around. In the price, except for the enormously rich breakfast, which we prebooked, some amenities are offered for free as well. Every guest have the chance to participate in the daily complimentary activities (yoga, meditation, olive oil tasting and more) which we found very interesting. Also the fitness area is a quite nice place for daily workout and includes indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi and free group trainings. We loved everything from our 1bedroom villa, the spacious living area, the private pool, the bedroom, the amazing views.

My first time in Corfu and what a find this hotel was. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years I have been travelling but this one beats them all. The hotel is absolutely stunning - modern interior, spacious and very tastefully decorated. All the public areas and my bedroom were fantastic. We were also given a free upgrade to a suite when we decided to extend our stay. The rooftop bar is one of the best I have seen... with amazing views. All the bars and restaurants were great too, serving local and asian dishes. To add to all this, I don't think I have ever received a warmer welcome in a hotel. The reception team and all the other staff were outstanding. I can find no fault with this hotel... truly outstanding. When I come back to Corfu, this is where I will stay.
