Orangers

I was a returning client and after this experience I will absolutely NOT return NOR recommend this hotel . Unfortunately we were very disappointed that we were persuaded to book a more expensive room, with the excuse that we had bicycles, which would have fitted in a normal room, only to make us pay more and give us a room which is a complete failure. Indeed, the room on the ground floor was a complete disappointment, no wonder it was not advertised because I believe it was not liveable yet, but somehow your staff felt to earn from it just the same. It was ABSOLUTELY NOISY, I do not know if it was the walls themselves, or the door or the hall, but the noise felt even echoed, it was really disturbing, we were woken up about AT 5:30 AM by the incredibly loud noise made by the kitchen staff and waiters, plates and cutlery being repeatedly banged together and hotel staff walking with heels along the corridor repeatedly and banging the room between rooms and reception. All of this noise continued until almost 7am, it has been a nightmare. Also this room, which was clearly made for people with wheelchair, was somehow more expensive (so wheelchair users are more prone to pay much more than the others - at least 30 euros more per night in low season) but was completely bare. It had no shower door or glass walls, no towel hangers, no bathroom wardrobe, the TV had no smart features, the window electric shutter did not work. A complete rip off and scam. Also the wifi was not working, my devises could not even stay connected for more than 5 minutes. Breakfast was nothing special, eggs were tasteless, hams looked expired, no express food/drinks such as eggs or cappuccinos, only with a machine. Furthermore, woman at reception with long grey hair was somehow unfriendly once paid!

God hotel, very comfortable location. Nice and very friendly staff, comfortable bed. Good and tasty breakfast, could be more vegetables for breakfast. Using hotel for many years during exhibition, no complains.

I had a lovely stay at Hotel Des Orangers. I will be returning very soon! The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The staff was very kind. The location was perfect walking distance from the rest of Cannes.

This Hotel is so well positioned (tho up a bit of a hill). There is an outdoor pool and a few sunbeds. The reception/bar/lounge area has large, comfy sofas and chairs. There is always a large vat of water and little cups available in Reception. Breakfast is buffet style - plentiful and varied. The star of this hotel is its staff. They are so friendly and helpful and gave us lots of tips and ideas. I had a single room next to the lift shaft and that was a little noisy (ding troisiemme all night!). The rooms are very small but given the ideal location, this would be the same in New York or London or any popular tourist destination. It was ideal Hotel for our group of 5 (aged 40-70).

Great hotel with a good location. Excellent breakfast and a great value for the money. Staff super friendly. Stayed at the hotel in 2022 and returned this year, thought it was great overall value. Will return.
