Hotel was spotless, lovely room, except that I was charged an extra £400 for a balcony room that overlooked empty flats next door. Very disappointed with the food when Italian cuisine is famous the world over, so boring and so bland, no imagination used whatsoever. And being a vegetarian my meals were worse than the meat eaters, they didn’t have a clue. Omelettes offered everyday, once with ham in 🥴 I asked for a pizza and was told they don’t have a pizza oven, nor do I but it cooks very well in a normal oven ! Veg pasta had no taste whatsoever, no garlic, no basil, no oregano etc so I bought some chilli flakes and added some taste myself. Breakfasts were fine, but I dreaded the dinner times.

Felt like a retirement home. Entertainment less to be desired. Stray cats running around and big roaches. Food was bland and tasteless. Better choices out there not worth the money. needs remodeling. also too noisy.

Last year I was infomed from Tripadvisor that hotel Heleia is out the bussnes. . This year We had vocation in Djardini Naxos in Sicily and one night we decided to have a fun and listen alive music in this pleasant hotel.. Everything was the same . .Nice atmosphere ,popular location,private beach,room service,Bar,very nice and comfortable pleasant staff,very clean , great Italian traditional food, Very impressive decoration in the lobby. Not far a way from lovely Taormina. I wil be back to this place again.

Great hotel with the fantastic position located on the beautiful beach, very clean hotel, extremly nice and pleasant staff, great Italian food is served. Beautiful Taormina is located not far from the hotel. We will back to this place again.

The hotel is a lovely modern hotel with great waiting and bar staff. We had a sea view room with two balconies; however, a bit odd as there was only one sun lounger on one of the balconies. The room was a good size as was the bathroom with lots of towels and quality toiletries although the plug in the wash basin did not work. A nice touch having complimentary soft drinks in the fridge replaced on a regular basis. But it would have been nice to have had some sort of crib sheet to tell us of the tv channels and where the switch for the reading light was - I did ask reception about the reading light but they could not understand what I meant and it took us 24 hours to find this. For a 4 star hotel upgraded room bath robes would have been nice. I would have given 5 stars were it not for these little niggles.
