Riu Caribe

Want to say this Resort was amazing, if you didn't have fun here you should just stay home. Anything and everything you would need or want to eat, the food was always hot and ready to go, the drinks were great, pool and activities and party's were awesome. Shout out to Ulises at the front just amazing and a sweatheart for taking such good care of us, he went beyond his duties taking care of us to even calling Booking.com for us when they messed up our reservations and he didn't hesitate to make sure we were taken care that day, even when Booking.com could do anything for us until Monday. The staff was on every detail to restocking to cleaning up the floors and if we needed anything, we just needed to ask. Beautiful Resort. We had our 20th Anniversary celebration there with 10 other couples April 13 the April 19th, 2024. Thank you RIU Caribe Cancun. ❤️

What a great vacation! The resort was recently. Renovated and was very beautiful. Everything was new. We were given a free room upgrade upon arrival. Which turned out to be a beautiful corner room with an ocean view. Very spacious and great decor. The liquor dispenser came in handy as well 😂😂. The food : the buffet wasn't as big as we expected but there was a large variety of food. Everything tasted amazing and every visit we had to the buffet we always left full. We also did 2 a LA cartes, which were unlimited. The steakhouse was much better than other reviewers have posted. And the sushi. The sushi was incredible, so good we ended up eating there the last 3 nights of the stay. They also. Had Peppes by the pool. Which served burgers. Fries, tacos, fruits, etc from 1130-6 The resort itself was much smaller than we had expected. But it turned out to not be such a bad thing. It was very comfortable. It had 3 pools. A family pool. An activity pool and the main pool with swim up bar. All which had inifiity edges looking out onto the beach and ocean. Which was literally just 1 step away. The beach was beautiful but the only. Shade was from. Palm trees The most fun part of the resort is they held the riu parties right on location. And everyone else from. All. Other rius traveled there for them. We ended up going to all 4 and having an amazing time. Whether you participate or sit on the side and just people watch. It's a blast. The white and jungle parties were by far our favorite. We would highly. Recommend this resort and we will continue to support riu as I've been to many and never had a bad time

If you like music & like parties & fun, then this hotel is fantastic. 4 themed foam parties a week, great atmosphere with fantastic tunes & djs. Rooms are lovely & the place is spotless and cleaned to an amazing standard. 5 restaurants all serving great food.

A year since I’ve been however I would go again and again! Best holiday ever! Best experience! Friendly staff! Brilliant atmosphere! Family friendly! Couple friendly! On the beach! Absolutely could not fault this holiday! 2 weeks in Cancun and the best hotel by far.. lovely food daily across several restaurants, lovely drinks, lovely entertainment! Went to swim with dolphins, turtles, sharks and stingrays! Zip lining, snorkelling, jet ski! Would do it all again! Perfect for families, lovely size pool and perfect for adults/couples.. swim up bar.. pizza for a snack, why not?! I booked all inclusive, best option ever! Went to Coco Bongo, every much the biggest hype in Cancun.. was a short ride away.. best experience! Would recommend everything ! Lastly the best staff, both hotel staff and Thomson staff! Go go go! Don’t bother reading reviews just go! Right on the beach, literally the stars down and your feet are on the sand! Best ever!! Actually visited in August 2017 (cannot date this review back further.. )

Just wow! Me and my boyfriend visited Riu caribe on our first trip to Mexico this year and we couldn’t fault it. The whole experience was amazing, from the range in the buffet breakfast lunch and dinner, the room, the entertainment each night, the staff, everything! The only thing I could fault is the fact that the restaurants weren’t as great as we had hoped except the steak restaurant which we visited 3 times. This place is a must visit, it is beautiful. I also reccomend doing a snorkelling trip to see and swim with turtles and sting rays which we did aswell as the Xcaret park.
